I have used Global Relay since 2017 for my business, and *was* very happy with their email archiving system. Then I tried to buy a new service, and was mis-sold and lied to and ended up buying a service that wasn't fit for purpose (I needed it for groups, it can only do one at a time). When I said I have never used it and will never use it and felt deceived since it isn't what I needed at all - they basically said "we don't care, you signed a three year contract". I met with a lawyer, who said I have a case against them since they LIED but it costs so much to go to court that I'm a bit stuck. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE and WILL TELL YOU ANYTHING TO GET YOU TO SIGN THE CONTRACT.

Global Relay is in contravention of the noise bylaws in North Vancouver, Canada. They have added additional servers to their "cloud hosted services" North Vancouver location. The additional servers require more cooling and as such GR has returned to utilizing conventional cooling methods rather than continuing with or expanding their existing "green" cooling system. The result has been a 24 hour onslaught of noise pollution resulting in nearby residents to keep their windows and doors closed almost permanently. As we head into the hottest part of the year the situation is becoming untenable especially when GR has expressed the acknowledgement of exceeding noise levels. Corporate stalling is what their response has been up to date in moving towards a viable and equitable solution. As their head office is located in a quieter location and they have no noise distractions there why hurry to placate a few neighbours whose lives are being disrupted by the noise barrage.
