My wife was having issues with an influx of rats in the stables where the ducks are kept and we looked at humane solutions and a lot of DIY on YouTube.
After watching videos from, goodnature.co.nz on bait and trap placement, as well as advice on not to place bird seed on the ground to attract the rats, we decide to call Good Nature Traps UK for advice.
Talking with Vance Pain (Managing Director), he advised us of the products but importantly, the steps needed to manage the trap efficiently.
We bought the, A24 Smart Trap kit and which was delivered on time.
We preceded with the correct steps and within 5 days, we had our first rat fatality. 2 weeks after, another 5 rat fatalities. The digital counter of rat deaths was accurate and combined with less duck food on the ground and our black cat called Anika on the hunt, we now have almost eradicated the rat problem. We highly recommend Good Nature Traps UK.

I was sceptical initially. But the results have been very good. The most important thing is to follow the instructions, something I didn’t do at first. After that I managed to get 7 mice rather quickly. Not having to touch or see the carcasses when disposing of them is a big plus

I procrastinated on the A24 Rat Trap for ages, it's not cheap. But having tried bait boxes, snap traps, humane traps, sonic deterrents and sprays, with each working briefly and then the rats adapting, I decided this was worth a go. It was ignored for 2 weeks and since then it's been taking out 2-3 a week consistently for 2 months.

My assumption is that because the body drops out of it, the others never get to associate it with danger. It's built really well with zero chance of being triggered and missing the target, and resets itself so maintenance is minimal.

I had some issues with the bluetooth element initially, which was mainly down to me not reading the manual.
Mine does not sync unless I wake the smart cap by tapping it AND have the app open on my phone. Otherwise the cap remains asleep.
If it is set off, then it remains awake with the red light flashing until it connects to a phone.

I commented on this via the 'contact us' form on their website, within 30 minutes I received a call talking me through every step in detail, and they then sent me a free replacement which arrived the following day.

Obviously there is no one-size-fits-all solution for rodent issues, but this has been the most effective I have used by far and I highly recommend it. A few friends have now bought one on my recommendation and are all seeing great success with them.

I bought the trap from BATA Ltd, very fast delivery and only £78.00. The product is very easy to set up and is highly effective, caught 3 mice within 48hrs. The remote monitoring and resetting is great and means I don't need to keep climbing in the roof to check. No false firng to date, so 100% review

Purchased for€250 - 3 months I have this put bait in I may as well have used a fishing rod to catch the rats. Worse than useless. Very disappointed in it

I purchased the good nature rat trap 7months ago. I have yet anything to show for my investment. I have been setting my old basic trap and have been successful in removing 4 rats. Being honest it was a complete waste of money. Wouldn’t recommend it to anyone 🙈

Excellent customer service. I cannot praise enough the time taken on the phone to help me when I thought my exterminator was not working properly. I realised that I had placed it in totally the wrong place (on the tree I was trying to protect - wrong!) and was not using the lure properly. I was told how to dismantle the trap to clean it - what to do and what not to do! I felt so valued and supported as a customer. The help was knowledgeable and professional. If you should have an issue with this product - talk to them - they are brilliant! Thank you Goodnature - you are quality!

Unfortunately it simply does not work, Followed all the instructions and advice but completely ineffective. An expensive waste of money.

Bought a Goodnature Humane Grey squirrel trap and found it to be 100% useless.
It isn't caught a single squirrel and when operated beside a working and effective cage squire trap the cage tea caught many while the Godnarure device didn't cat a singer animal. I was conned BIG TIME. A compete and utterly waste of space Mike Fisher

Purchased the A18 Grey Squirrel Trap with Digital Counter and Trap Guard. Very disappointed as the only squirrel it caught, it injured and I had to put it out of it's misery - which is the complete opposite of what the trap is intended for - a quick and humane way to go. The counter only goes off when the guard is replaced after topping up the lure. Absolutely pointless and a waste of my money. The company has not responded to my letter to them either. Such a shame.

2nd review. I had a further pressure problem with a replacement squirrel trap and, following my first experience, contacted customer service again. Once again they were excellent and freely replaced the trap together with spare gas cartridges. The traps themselves are very effective. Likely to get a rat trap soon.

I highly recommend the Goodnature mouse trap. Completely remedied a persistent mouse infestation in one night which was previously causing persistent barking from a Jack Russell dog. All mice were humanely accounted for and results automatically recorded on mobile phone. It is not cheap, but it really works!

Great device (a24). Sometimes gets multiple rodents in a few hours. No injuries so far, just kills. Great customer support.

The A24 humane rat trap is truly a game-changer. After struggling to control rats at our horse yard, this is the only product that has effectively resolved the problem. We never find any bodies, as wildlife naturally takes care of them, which is very reassuring. Had a problem with the co2 canisters and was unsure about the problem.

I called goodnature to see if they could rectify the problem, the guy on the phone was the most helpful and nicest person I’ve ever met , he assured me he would replace the trap and send extra cartridges, an hour after my call I received a notification that the trap was on its way .

This company and the gentleman on the end of the phone are a credit to this company , all other businesses really need to take a leaf out of their book , the overall service ,professionalism and customer care is second to non

I purchased a A18 Grey squirrel trap around a year ago and as there are more squirrels this year I recently purchased some new gas canisters and fresh bait.

In the last 48 hours it has killed one squirrel and 2 woodpeckers Feeling very guilty as did not monitor last year so unsure how many birds I killed previously but this trap is not safe and I have had to bin it

Well I was given a trap to use on our farm and I’m sorry to say it’s not worth the money after 5 different locations.
I have already the best trap ever it’s called a Uhlik repeater costs way more and caught 11 rats in 1night.
So if you don’t mind dealing with live rats in a cage and paying £400 then this is your trap Uhlik.

I purchased the A18 Squirrel Trap a few years ago and had mixed results despatching a total of 7 squirrels over that time period. Recently I added a piece of natural fibre string about an inch long looping it through the paste and basket so that both ends were covered in paste level with the actuator arm. In 3 days the trap has despatched 4 squirrels!! Just a simple little tweak has worked wonders. Give it a try!

I bought an A24 professional trap kit 2 weeks ago after finding some mice and rat droppings all over a large garage space. Nothing until today, but finically caught one!

During these 2 weeks, thinking that the A24 just wasn’t working I bought a myriad of other traps. Electric traps, snap traps. Modern plastic snap traps. Bait stations everything.

I bought an animal cam too. My rats were too fast for the snap traps.

It turns out all that was required was patience. It seems the rodents need time to trust a trap.

Anyway. Easy to clean, easy to use. The rat is caught in a tray to its easy to tip into a bag. No picking up the rat required.

Hopefully I’ll catch the rest over the next few days 🤞

Squirrel trap and counter working well. 9 so far, and just 2 weeks since setting it up. We are already seeing a huge decrease in squirrel activity, I was seeing up to 5 together at any one time and the small business next door has repeatedly had them nesting under the roof and making holes in the ceilings. We actually shared the cost of the trap as the squirrels have started running on and investigating a low roof on my cottage as well as bark stripping all our 30 year old young oak trees (about 20 trees) which are now dying. Today’s victim is the first squirrel I’ve seen in 2 days, I actually watched it and saw the trap in action; I’m fully satisfied in the way the trap is working and pleased that there’s no accidental destruction of other wildlife.
