GO Outdoors - Belfast Reviews 

What is the point of having a store in Belfast who advise to order item online only to order the item & once address is added it does NOT POST TO BELFAST OR CLICK & COLLECT IN STORE...BUT I CAN GO TO AYR IN SCOTLAND FOR IT...customer service 30mins wait & then around in circles as no one knows why item can't be posted....asked to speak with management & still waiting 3weeks on...yet a truck can arrive with deliveries of large products but not a shoe box...🤬

Had a few problems with the on line web site. Total disaster.
However when I went to my local store ,I was looking for 2 garden chairs.
Only 2 left were on display, the staff were amazing they were so helpful and cheerful.
They were like a breath of fresh air,from the manager and floor staff, not forgetting the 2 young girls on the till
Their customer service was outstanding, how lucky for go outdoors to have great staff

The variety is amazing, I went in for 1 specific item and came out with a full trolley ;-0
Haven't used all items yet but those I have worked well. Customer services were excellent and very helpful instore.
The membership card offers excellent value for money.

Had good experience today at the store, though the tent I wanted was sold and another was sold out I thought my chances are slim on the style I wanted, anyhow Bradley one of the team was brilliant and very patient with my needs. He didn’t rush me on the 3 hours I was there, very kindly helped me on exploring other options. Nice fella, patient, thanks Young man, a great credit to the store.

I dont normally complain but i am out raged i was in the shop recently and Sam was helping me he was really rude and im only finding out now he made some very creepy remarks to my daughter who was with me

A huge thank you to Ellen and especially Dagmara at GO Outdoors Belfast. Dagmara helped me on the shop floor several times and consistently provided exceptional customer service. Her patience, dedication and willingness to help were truly outstanding, and she always took the time to make sure I felt supported without ever making me feel rushed.

Ellen was also fantastic and provided brilliant customer service. Dagmara deserves special recognition for going above and beyond — she is a real credit to the store. Thank you both for making my experience so positive! ❤️

We visited Go - Outdoors Belfast (shortly before closing 🙈)and were served by Bradley, he was so helpful and informative we have never camped before and knew very little about camping gear in general. Bradley was excellent he knew the products very well and gave us good advice we were sorted and ready to camp before closing !

Very good quality equipment and incredibly good value for money will be going to this store for all my camping needs

I needed to replace both my shoes and boots and was dreading the experience as all the factors that go into choosing a pair make it near impossible to decide. Thankfully staff member Charlene assisted me and was able to answer a plethora of questions from brands to materials to shoe care and also provided helpful recommendations. The wealth of knowledge went above and beyond what one could expect and made the whole experience a breeze, couldn't recommend GO Outdoors more.

Had an amazing experience, was helped by a staff member (Ellie), she was really cool 😎 and gave me fabulous insight on what rucksack would best suit me, she was incredibly polite and patient because I was a bit slow on the uptake 😂

I was served by Carly- Ann in go outdoors newtownabbey today. She was super helpful at the desk with finding my outdoors membership number and was very pleasant to speak with.

I needed my tent poles fixed i was going to bring them but my husband said i wouldn't need them. When I got there I spoke with a girl on the till unfortunately I didn't get her name im so annoyed because she was lovely. I then spoke with Bradley I hope go outdoors realise the knowledge this staff member has. He was amazing explained how to fix the poles what I needed. All my questions were answered and I was able to fix the poles with no issues. I was then served by Carly at the till she was helpful and polite. As usual brilliant visit to go outdoors it will always be my first place to go if I need anything for the outdoors.

Amazing service from Maia and Sarah Louise today who assisted me in picking a back pack. Maia was very knowledgable about the products and so friendly, great customer care. Thanks so much!

Wide range of options for our new tent however didn’t have the one we wanted in store. Lots of staff about, but none terribly attentive or helpful - too busy chatting amongst themselves. When I was able to get someone to help they just struggled and said if it’s not there we don’t have any. Not terribly helpful. She was also unable to tell us when it would be back in stock so suggested we ordered online. We did that and it said 3 days delivery. It took 8 working days to arrive. Customer service wasn’t great.

We visited the Belfast store to look at tents and other equipment for camping. We were assisted by Bradley who was fantastic. Very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. He is an absolute credit to the store and just made it an enjoyable experience. I purchased sun glasses and as he walked past he took the opportunity to point out that there was a free carry bag to accompany them that I hadn’t realised was there. In passing he also spoke to anither lady who had purchased a child’s folding chair and he demonstrated how to collapse it as there is a bit of a quirk which catches some people out. I can just tell he enjoys his job and goes above and beyond 😃
