Great store, really clean and organised. Everyone was helpful and kind. Rosie on the tills was kind and knowledgeable and knew the store policy extremely well. Overall a great shopping experience.

Fantastic service by Heidi to buy a ‘first’ riding helmet for my daughter. Heidi listened to what we required and made recommendations based upon this. She was able to add practical advice based on her own experience and nothing was too much trouble. Fantastic customer service as soon as the store opened!

We had such a great experience at Go Outdoors thanks to Mark! He took the time to walk us through everything we needed — from choosing the right tent and sleeping bag to explaining how to properly use a trekking bag.

What really stood out was how patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful he was. He didn’t just try to sell us products, but made sure we understood how to use them properly and felt confident heading into our trip.

It’s rare to come across someone who combines expertise with such a friendly and approachable attitude. Mark made the whole experience easy and enjoyable — we left feeling well-prepared and excited.

Fantastic service today at Go Outdoors Bristol.....the way Robin fondled my feet in the footwear department gave me a real trouser trembler !! ...Andy in the fishing department is just the best ....like a giant shaved bear and extremely knowledgeable....Karin almost put my back out with her enthusiastic greeting 😉 Lucy was amazing with helping to sort out my discount 😉 Sarah T was was super smiley as was Kerrie and Mark ....Oh and Emily was there too

I received no notification (email) that the item had been delivered to the store. I went twice to the store and noticed that you had the item in stock. I was not allowed a refund on the internet purchase so I didn't think I should buy the one instore.

We visited today to buy kit for my sons D of E Bronze. The staff (Ted & Dhruv) went out of their way to help and share their own experience and advice. We got everything we needed. Highly recommended.

We visited today for walking boots and a rucksack for my son’s Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award. The help we received was outstanding! Jacob offered help and advice drawing from his own experiences of the DofE! He has a wealth of knowledge on the subject and the products he’s selling. First recommending suitable boots, he then fitted my son with a rucksack and explained the product’s benefits and top tips on how to get the best out of the expedition. We left with a great rucksack and boots (and a few other things!) and a whole lot of new knowledge on the DofE. Thank you Jacob for your help! Also thanks to Mia on the tills for her friendliness!
