GO Outdoors - Harlow Reviews 

Harlow store for Go Outdoors was great! And we had a great experience thanks to the help of an employee named Maddie, very helpful and efficient, even when we made a pricing mistake on our side, she explained it and was patient with us when changing tents, also great help from a employee named Dan too.

Will be back to if needed in future!

Needed to make a purchase of a new pair of walking shoes. Was assisted by a lady whose name I didn’t get I’m afraid but she was most helpful and had a great ability to interact with her customers. Although I’ve been here before, today was the best experience I’ve had in the store and it was good to see such a high level of service and interest from the team.

Maddie helped us with our purchase as well as joining Go Out Doors. The customer service we were given 100% . If more colleagues engaged with customers with such great customer service Go out doors would be a pleasure to shop out.

Great service from Dave! He was patient and knowledgeable, as we tried on hiking boots for DofE.

I needed new hiking boots. There is a good selection of various brands. I was helped by Kris, who was very knowledgeable. After he ascertained what I actually walk / hike he recommended a specific boot. Whilst it was not the cheapest it fit the best and had enough flexibility for flat walking as well as hill climbing. Well spoken, professional and genuinely knowledgeable. I also have to mention Lucy, on the till. She was efficient and very helpful. It was a very good shopping experience.

Fantastic service from Jamie in the Harlow store ! We realised the morning we were going camping that one of our air poles had blown on our tent, and it needed replacing that morning 🤦🏽‍♀️. Jamie managed to find exactly the right one in the back of the store, really looking carefully because it was hidden but carried on until he found it for us, enabling us to go via Harlow on our way to Southwold and collect the air pole so that we could have our family holiday. We are so so grateful for his diligence and kindness. He put the poles to one side (he established he had the poles whilst we waited on the phone) so they would not be sold before we arrived. Thank you so much. We had a great holiday. Everything worked brilliantly. THANKS JAMIE!!

Once again, I was assisted by Abi, and as always, she was extremely friendly, helpful and professional. She always provides excellent customer service and makes the whole experience pleasant. Thank you, Abi!

Good quality product. Nice price but only for members. Membership costs £5 and you need to pay for it every year. Friendly staff, Maddie at the till explained everything and was very kind.

All good, had to change some items. No problems in doing so, even had a refund of some money due to price drop.

Pathetic.
Ordered a tent, gas stove and 2 fold up chairs. Over 1 week later had no feedback. Went in store and was told only part order ready. Explained I needed my order for camping next day and agreed to give me half my order. Was told chairs hadn’t been delivered from warehouse and no idea when they would be delivered. I suggested I take 2 from the hundreds in the wood crates outside the store and inside but told I couldn’t as they were not my chairs. I said when my chairs turn up they could restock there crate items but told no. Ridiculous and no common sense.

Great product at good price.Maddie at checkout was really good and helpful. Ensuring that we had found all the goods that we were looking for .

We popped in to Go outdoors Harlow after frankly a horrific visit to Halfords to buy my son his first adult bike. Paul the bike tech to his time explaining the pros of three bikes in my price range, taking time to explain to my full of questions 11 year old. While I went and paid paul took his time to explain to my son what he was doing, sharing knowledge, answering I’m guessing one to many questions and being genuinely enthusiastic about bikes and sharing my sons excitement. Did I spend too much… probably! Did my son have an amazing customer experience, yes! Would I go back and buy another bike? Yes! Especially if Paul is doing the set-up! A special mention to Leah who had a laugh and joke with me while I tried to find my membership card and to the whole team for being genuinely a cut above everyone else in the area! Thank you very much!

The beach tent and beach wind shield I bought was worth the purchase + the products were reliable.

Staff at Harlow are also helpful.
