Very helpful and friendly lads at Lincoln go outdoors! Helped me get my roof tent on my car and stayed after their shift ended

I was served by a young male called Lewis. who helped me marvellously choose some walking boots for my own grandson who is coming up to 14. I have no idea really what is best for younger generation, and Lewis helped me ably, offering his own advice based on his age group, and also on the the benefits of certain products. there was a great selection of boots available, and also walking socks and everything else one might need.

The staff were friendly and helpful.

Was interested in buying a tent from you, found out it was only at a few shops so I called the shop & they said that there maybe a way to get the tent to my local shop , but they would call head office & let me know, no call came so I rang back, I was asked to ring the next week as no response had come back yet to them. Still no answer from anyone in my next call & still waiting.

My daughter and I travelled from Newark to Lincoln Go Outdoors. I had never been before and as I have a caravan, was really looking forward to it. I wasnt disappointed. It was huge lol
The shop was lovely and warm. Very clean and tidy. Every item was set out and labelled well. We only did 1 section of the shop and was there 2 hours lol
Any queries we had while browsing, The lovely Owen was on hand to advise. He found me the greatest bargain half price fridge and Im thrilled with it. We bought some great items. We got everything we went for, and more lol
Owen served us at the till and was so helpful. He sorted out a membership for us so we got the discounts. The shop expects Blue Light Discount of which my daughter has a card due to being a support worker. We got 30% off our total cost and saved £233. Owen advised that as we had been there a good while, that he made a note of my daughters Registration as the shop doesnt own the land and youre only allowed a 2 hour stay in the carpark. I am disabled so quite slow and definitely needed longer than that. Owen carried some of our items to the van which was really helpful of him. All in all it was a lovely afternoon and we got some fab items. I definitely recommend this shop and will be returning x

I visited the Lincoln store simply to collect a parcel, but ended up having one of the most unexpectedly enjoyable experiences I’ve had in a shop. Zan, one of the employees there, is an absolute asset to the team. She’s incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely helpful, and she introduced me to the world of travel backpacks in a way that really opened my eyes.
She took the time to walk me through the differences between brands and what each backpack is actually designed for. It might sound like a small thing, but as someone who travels frequently, this was genuinely useful information that I’ll carry with me when making my next purchase. I’ve already got my eye on one!
I’ll definitely be returning to the store and seeking Zan out when I’m ready to buy. Zan, if you’re reading this, thank you so much for your help today, and I hope you have an amazing time at the ABBA night!
