GO Outdoors - Liverpool (Express) Reviews 

I don't often write reviews but Eric and Nathan were so helpful and jovial I had to. After asking Nathan which walking boots he would recommend (out of a selection I'd found online) he gave me clear information about what made the Berghaus boots the ones I should go for. When I went to pay however I realised that they were £40 more than I'd seen online. I didn't have enough money for that so I said I'd have a think and a sit to figure out what to do. This is where Eric stepped in (after having tried to find a pair upstairs) he was so helpful and said as I'd found the same boots online at a cheaper price he would honour that. Not only were Nathan and Eric helpful but I also appreciated that we could have a bit of a laugh and they didn't try to upsell

I came into the store hoping to try on 3 models of Scarpa walking boots. They only had one, the Scarpa SL Active and it turned out to be the one i was hoping for the most and in the size i was looking for on top of being the last pair left. What are the odds?

After trying them on, Eric the expert offered a price that was even better than what i could possibly get online. Unfortunately, I had to refuse but Eric gave all the reassurance and told me to think about it and come back if i change my mind. Oh did i ever think about it. It was one of those offers you'd be a bit foolish to refuse and that is how i felt on the walk home. So the next day, i made it a priority to come back and buy them.

Shout out to Eric and Nathan for a one of a kind shopping experience.

Great Service from Eric and the team as always. I received great advice and a friendly service.

I recently bought 7 OS maps, at a much more favourable price than other retailers, 2 pairs of Craghoppers (also at a very competitive price, especially with the discount applied on my loyalty card) and a RAB padded jacket (with a free sturdy cardboard bag). I was impressed by the range of items in this small busy store in the heart of Liverpool close to Central Station - and that's without venturing upstairs to buy some Kendal Mint Cake, well within date! On all occasions, I found all the staff extremely helpful and eager to please, offering a more personal service unlike others who simply take your money and tell you to 'have a nice day'. Well done to all at Go Outdoors!

Went into the store today, bought two tee shirts and was served by Eddie who was really helpful.

I went into the store to find a jacket to help with the lower temperatures as I was moving around Europe. Paul was very kind to help me out with reserving a specific jacket while I explored further stores and continued to help me while I made up my mind and discussed brands and benefits. Own brand is as good as known brands and would recommend.

Great experience in store, Eddie was incredibly helpful and the Merrel walking shoe i asked for brought a size larger shoe as well as the size 10 requested (good forward thinking and customer focused). Explained I
had 28 day return policy as long as not worn outdoors if the fit was wrong. Upsold me some Nikwax waterproofing as well.
