Fantastic store, very clean and staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable on the merchandise.

Alex S was an amazing helping hand in choosing what we wanted that fit our needs without just making us get the most expensive option even putting our chosen items aside for when we eventually decided on ehat we wanted. Great member of staff 👍

The staff, Lisa and a young man (sorry I didn’t catch your name ) were really knowledgeable about the products I was interested in buying. They were polite and friendly.

Staff very helpful and friendly on my visit earlier today . I was looking for a foldable waterproof jacket and on finding them was told I could take them out of the box to try on and the mirrors in store pointed out to me by Scott, one of the sales staff

I went into the store to look for my first hiking shoes, and the lovely Alex helped me and really made me feel welcomed and gave me tips on the shoes I got and how to look after them :)

Great customer service from Lisa, took her time to understand what I needed and matched my needs to the product.

Efficient and helpful support from Scott who made sure that our purchases where what we needed and suitable. Very polite and personable service.

Went in for some snow boots. The guy that helped me was great. Friendly, genuine and efficient. He also gave me some tips for brands for people with wide feet and seemed really knowledgeable. Legend

I was served today by Sheila and Lisa. Proper customer service, they explained the features of all the down jackets I was looking at and were really helpful. I wish more stores employed people like this who knows how to look after customers and be helpful without being pushy.

Excellent service and Olivia was very helpful in helping me select the correct size walking boots.

A big shout out for Lisa who brought me numerous pairs of hiking boots, gave good advice and kitted me up with just what I wanted. Managed to find a great winter coat by Rab, a make I love. Go Outdoors have a members card (£5 annually) which helped knock the price down. Great service and a good experience. Thanks Lisa :)

I had a lovely experience shopping in go outdoors and the service I received from all three gentlemen Alex, Scott and Rhyas was superb. From anticipating what I required to recommendations on membership, it was customer service at at its best. I would definitely visit that branch again

Lisa was really helpful, she set up my membership for me & was really chatty. I bought a North Ridge jacket, went out on a dog walk this morning, it was freezing but not in my jacket, really toasty.

I'd visited the Meadowhall store four or so times in the past year to purchase the odd item, socks, trousers, coat. Usually at the checkout I've been able to hear and see Alex whom is always present within the shoe section of the store. He always is audibly professional and friendly, when my wife and I visited the store on Dec 27th, my experience with Alex met my expectations exactly how i presumed them to be met.

Me and the wife are heading out to the south of Germany and my poor old feet need better hiking shoes.

Meadowhall was BUSY. And Go Outdoors was the busiest id ever seen it.
We headed straight for the shoe section, with no ideas or plans. After standing staring at the wall for less than a minute, Alex approached us and immediately started to filter through our requirements. This included: Foot width, size, water resistance, temperature conditions and importantly, budget. (£100)
With guidance we selected a Merrell shoe that was within budget. When Alex came out he broke the news that there wasn't any of that one in my size BUT... there was the MOAB3 at £130.

After listing all the reasons why it was a great shoe, i tried them on. Alex provided friendly, LOCAL hospitality whilst i was umming & aahing, he made great conversation. All whilst simultaneously serving another customer (to compensate for how incredibly busy it was). I definitely got the vibe that they enjoyed his company just as much as we did.

In the end we purchased the pair of MOAB's , at the till Alex took my member details, informed me of the shoes warranty with Go Outdoors and the warranty with Merrell.

As a customer i would say that Alex was very personable, informative, efficient, polite and patient.

A message for Alex:
Good luck on the rest of your journey in retail Alex. And not that i think you will, but never stop being friendly and chatty!

Very helpful staff. Ellie in particular showed me a new way to lace up the shoes I was after which helped give more room in the forefoot as I was stuggling to find any wide enough.
