Staff just chatting. Laughing at customers in their faces and not taking work seriously.

Had everything that I needed plus so much else. Being disabled I needed an assistant after we had browsed in the area that interested us. An assistant was hard to find but, when found, was extremely helpful. All went well at the cash point but after that no help was available to get a bulky purchase to the car which was parked in a designated spot close to the exit doors.
Fortunately an off duty staff member approaching her own vehicle gave the help that was needed and was very much appreciated.

As always amazing products and even better people, if you haven’t got a membership yet get one!!

Fantastic product range and they have amazing stocks of the products.

Refused to repair or replace a faulty tent, as we didn’t have receipt- the tent is only available from Go Outdoors and Blacks and it was purchased on Members Card, which should be sufficient proof of purchase.

We went to leave a review of the tent directly on the Go Outdoors website, but it has still not been published over a week later - looks like they filter bad reviews out.

Had to drop 1 star simply because this was the end of an era now that the Oxford store has been closed. I came to purchase a few small items on its final day and also have a brief chat with the staff with whom I’ve interacted with for a number of years. I sincerely hope a new store will soon be back in action here in Oxford as it really needs one here.

When we heard you were closing the Oxford store we went straight down and spent almost £500 on items that would be difficult to buy without being able to handle them first. All of our many tents over the years were bought from this store after spending time in your adjacent tent site. Always found the staff helpful and the range of products good. Hope to see you back in the locality soon.

Popped in to grab a bargain before the store closed its doors for the final time. I will really miss this store and hope another site can be found locally

Served by Liam, excellent service as always in Kennington store. Still a good demand for Go Outdoors around Oxford so hopefully a new store or alternative local option is sorted soon. Can't see us traveling to Swindon

I popped in to purchase a jacket I’d seen on line. I was devastated to discover the Go outdoors Oxford branch was closing the next day due to structural safety issues. Talking to the lovely Helen at customer service it was unknown what the future held. I have lived in Oxford for 52 years.Go Outdoors has for many years just been there. Good store,Convenient, easy to park and always friendly. It would be so sad to see it go.
The jacket wasn’t in stock but Helen was very kind and helped me purchase on line. I’d like to wish all the staff a good Christmas and hope their jobs are safe.

Very helpful staff. A good variety of all types of clothing and accessories. Bargains to be had (even without the extra 20% closing down discount).

As usual, I had a great experience at Oxford's Go Outdoors today. Found what I wanted and more, and had fantastic customer service.

I was really sad to hear it is closing down. Please please reopen in Oxford. You will be very sadly missed otherwise. We need you!

Went to the Oxford store today by chance, only to find that it is closing and today was the last day! Disaster!! Apparently there is an issue with the building - but as regular visitors will know, it is a bit dilapidated. The staff were told only 2 days ago, but the lad on the shoe section and the server chap at the till were were both professional and in seeming good spirits, so well done them especially a couple of weeks before Christmas. Hopefully the staff team will be looked after. Let's hope the company get new premises in Oxford soon please, as its a great place to spend lots of money!
