Well stocked store. We visited as wanted a portable gas bbq and unsure which one would be best for our purpose fortunately shop supervisor's Ben and Quinn were close at hand and asked if we required help. Both were super knowledgeable and went on to sell us a cool box and bbq accessories too. Their service was EXCELLENT and both are an asset to Go Outdoors. If ever you are visiting store and are unsure about your purchase we would recommend seeking their help.

Visited this store and was served by an extremely helpful member. Her name was Haleema, and she deserves a mention because she was very knowledgeable & helpful in helping my husband make the correct decision on which shoes to buy. He felt 2 different sizes fitted him well & both were comfortable. She explained why the smaller size were the correct ones , giving knowledgeable clear reasons. A few days later, one
happy customer with very comfortable shoes and no blisters. Thank you Haleema.

Popped into this branch today for crabbing gear,I was really impressed with Mariam. Mariam helped me with everything I needed and took me to where everything was kept.

Great advise from Haleema who helped me get some well fitting and very comfortable walking shoes.

A few years Halema helped me choose a pair of walking shoes. Today she was there to help again. Again a friendly smile and so helpful. I then moved onto the Sale Section to select some warmer clothing for a trip to summer in Greenland. Some good base layers and a waterproof warm coat later I was all sorted. Halema even helped me carry the items to the til.

Found what I was looking for through the website, but due to the system being recently updated and not working as expected, couldn't apply my membership card discount. The staff in the Poole store were very helpful and sorted everything out for me. I purchased the 32ltr Osprey 'day sack'. I like Osprey and this bag is no exception for quality of materials and construction. I would have liked that the shoulder straps were more robust/padded. Something to hang a hydration pack on inside would be good, and a zipped storage inside the hood or internally. The next size up is the 35+ltr.

As it was my first ever time in this store, the way the cashier, Dave explained the benefits of membership and went out of his way to give me the best price as a blue badge holder. And also the person on the floor who went digging in the stock room to find the right sizes, so for me great service and great prices

I knew exactly what I wanted,and which replacement lightweight rain coat.
My heart sank to find all jackets doubly security linked and tied together. I searched but .
However, I walked over to a lady who was clearly busy in the boots area, she stopped,gave me instant eye contact and a greeting smile
and said ' how can I help you?'
Folks, this is Haleema, the lady

Haleema was truly helpful, trying to radio the staff for that area. None responded, so she then left her
own area to unlock the multiple
security cables, which are placed
way out of reach.

Rob, gave impressive professional assistance based on experience and a wealth of knowledge. In addition, valued guidance, that helped me select the correct jacket for my needs. Rebecca assisted also, reminding me as a veteran, ex forces I was entitled to a discount. Truly awesome staff, who goes the extra distance assisting and guiding the custmers when they need product information. Well done.

It has proved very challenging trying to obtain - what for me was - an expensive hoodie in a small size, to fit correctly over a co-ordinating tee-shirt from the same Weird Fish new summer collection. I have had to pay for three to get one that fits! The tee-shirt is loose fit yet the hoodie of the same size is slim fit. This risks crumpling the tee-shirt & it catching in the zip - if needing to zip the hoodie up. The description says there are side slip pockets but there are no pockets. A bigger size gives an improved co-ordination but the arms seem overly long - even with the cuffs turned up.
Thankfully the Customer Service staff were supportive, as was a store staff member, when dealing with two out of three inevitable refunds.
