First time buying from them, ordered 2 fans for my children, one turned up one didn’t, no email to say why, I called and customer service was really rude, finally said they would send one for the next day. Next day came, email to say it’s out of stock and won’t be sending it, had to call yet again and told will refund money but no one seems to know what they are doing so I imagine I’ll be calling again next week. Please teach your customer service team basic manners!

They took a double payment from me after they said the first one had not gone through. It had.
When I noticed on my statement, I called and they promised to refund the second payment which they have lied about for almost 2 weeks now, telling me almost every day that they had. They had not in fact sent anything and a female customer service person has just admitted they did not send the money at all. My bank is also livid after spending a lot of time trying to trace said money. Grattan have tried to defraud me out of a lot of money and it is despicable. I shall be paying off the account as quickly as possible and closing it once and for all. It's time they overhauled their customer service teams and employed honest people who can understand plain English.

What a scam of a Company. I order a Portable AC on Saturday which was on Stock online, place the order and received a order confirmation. Delivery was showing as expect by next Saturday and then after 5 days I received an email that the order was cancelled and I will receive a refund?!? Called their Customer Service for more explanations, however the only answer was "Sold out".

Avoid! Grattan take your order and money and then will say your bank declined the payment when in fact they don't have the items in stock.

Their customer service team are not helpful. They cancel orders with not notification or even refund. I have had to contact my bank to refund.

Since 11th May 2026 I have been trying to return a rug to Grattan. The first return request I arranged myself online for 11th May. Courier failed to turn up. Since then FOUR further return requests have been arranged by Grattan customer service representatives. On each occasion the courier failed to turn up despite firm assurances from Grattan staff that the courier would arrive.
In the meantime this rug, which is faulty having holes in two places, has been added to my account balance since May.
I have been advised that if the matter is not resolved after 8 weeks I can escalate the case via the Financial Ombudsman.
In all my years as a customer of Grattan I have never experienced such incompetence. My last two emails have not been answered. I was even told by one of their staff that I could take the rug to a drop off point if I wanted. The rug is 3m x 2.3 m and as a 75 year old woman I can barely lift the rug, let alone take it to a drop off point. I am now at a loss as to what I'm supposed to do.
It is clearly pointless speaking to Grattan’s foreign call centre who appear to be unable to arrange collection of the rug despite their promises to do so. I am appalled at Grattan’s incompetence and complete lack of customer care.

I have used Grattan's for many years. I have always found them to have a great product range, fairly priced, with a prompt delivery service, and a great and responsive customer services team.

I ordered several items which came in individual parcels mostly, but still free delivery. Tracking was good, the parcels arrived promptly, and the products are good value for the money.

Have been a customer 30 plus years. Last week I was in a position to pay off most of my bnpl. I sent them over 2k. They put £900 of it against one bnpl and denied getting the rest of the money, despite it all leaving my bank account in one lump sum. Bank says they have it. The customer "service" agent didn't give a toss, refusing to accept if they had £900,they must have had it all as it was in a lump sum. I am left to prove they have it and a bank dispute coming up. Worse is even if I get the money back I've no way of guaranteeing this doesn't happen again.

Been with Grattan for years, ordering was easy as per usual. I would've preferred the 3 items to arrive together instead of various days apart to prevent staying in. Still awaiting one. All things are good but you could pull back with the emails, I receive one sometimes two per day! I would prefer an occasional one and don't wish to snooze. Other than this all ok.

I ordered perfume and received a hat! Package was received on Saturday The delivery/invoice note within the package was for the perfume. I rang customer services to advise. I was told my order for perfume was due for despatch on Monday. It has not been received and payment for the full amount has been taken from my account. I will never use this company again

Always have a good experience with Grattan. Must have been ordering from them for nearly 50 years.
Goods always good quality and reasonably priced.
Usually delivered on time and returns easy.

Grattan is a great place to shop from clothing, footwear household things at great prices and different delivery options would recommend to customers

The item was delivered to the incorrect property - i was very lucky that the person it was incorrectly delivered to brought it to my house - it wasnt even delivery close by it was almost a mile away and was just left in the persons front garden.

The product I ordered was delivered very quickly and safely.We have bought from Grattan many times have never had a problems.

Ordering online is easy. Usually find what I am looking for. The last couple of times I have ordered the delivery time has been longer than usual.

Brought to cooker from them on the 22nd of November 2025 was delivered on the second of the 12th of 2025 it actually blew up in my kitchen on the 15th of the first of 2026 less than two months a month and a half at most I phoned them up to let them know and all I got back was I'm sorry you not got enough credit to buy another cooker I think it's very disgusting then been late payment fee cooker that actually went back before payment was due in January

I’ve shopped with Grattan since 1982 and have always been pleased with the quality variety and value of products on offer.
Unfortunately the delivery company Evri they use are appalling! Parcels being delivered to the wrong address and never delivered on the day or time allocated. I understand at times there are circumstances where the drivers could be held up but parcels should still arrive on the day stated!

Been a customer for years, and my mum was too when I was growing up. Ordering online is easy & orders always arrive with next to non or no issues. Everything I do with them is online now, very rarely need to speak to anyone. The only thing I would say is that I don't know if what I see online is targeted at my age range, because sometimes I think its showing me things it thinks I might like, when I don't like a lot of them. I can search for brands on there, which don't come up in my feed. Obviously I have no idea if this is what is happening. Otherwise, a great retailer, that helps me spread the cost of purchases & nails it.
