Sharp business practice - do not use.

Same as user called Umber.Parked. Paid for ticket. Few weeks later they issued me with a PCN. I emailed a copy of the ticket which only had the first two letters of my number plate on it.....machine not printing properly. Also, copy of credit card showing payment and they answer my appeal with "you paid for the wrong reg"

Green Parking is an ABSOLUTE SCAM

Absolute scam. On 17 Dec 2025 I parked at their car park near Slough station and paid for parking for the whole day. I displayed the ticket prominently on the dashboard of the car. In the first week of January I received a PCN with pix of my car entering and exiting the car park and accusing me of not having paid.
Luckily I had kept the parking ticket and provided it with my appeal immediately. They responded several days later (on a Friday evening of course) saying I had paid for the ‘inappropriate vehicle registration’ and claiming I was in contravention of their rules. They then asked me to pay (within one week) £15 as a ‘settlement fee’
They had the cheek to say this was for ‘DVLA charges and admin costs’
Why should I have to ‘settle’?
I paid for whole day parking at the time of parking .
The parking ticket does not have the car registration number on it but they should not have a machine on site which issues tickets without reg numbers. THAT IS THEIR RESPONSIBILITY. Moreover they can check from the ticket that I was the one who made the payment
I have written to their office as well as to their MD (one NEIL EDWARDS) and I still have not had a reply.
I am now going to write to POPLA

THIS COMPANY OPERATES FRAUDULENTLY

Please be very careful with private car parks! These are usually owned by individuals or companies, not the council/government. If you come across a parking sign that says “private property”, that’s a sign it’s a privately owned, and many of them try to take advantage of people who don’t know how scam systems work.

I parked at this car park in October and a couple of weeks later received a vague letter saying I’d violated their parking terms. It didn’t explain how, it just told me to pay the fine. I disputed it straight away and asked for proof of what I did wrong. They couldn’t give me a clear answer!

Then I showed them my parking ticket showing I had paid £4, which clearly covers 2–3 hours according to their own prices. They were caught out and quickly apologised, cancelling the fine. Why? Because most people throw their tickets away.

This was truly God protecting me!!! I don’t even know why I kept that ticket, but now I do. It was so I could share this and help others avoid being scammed by these shady operations.

Quick tip: Always keep your parking tickets for at least 30 days!

Private parking companies count on people not having evidence so they can issue false fines.

I am literally paying £48 for Green Parking's mistake.

I hired a van when I was moving to one of the property in Crawley on 04/07/2025 and the parking was managed by Green Parking. I gave the REG NUM to the property manager, which she passed to Green Parking for visitor registeratoin. Yet a month later I got an email from the van rental company saying that a PCN was issued to them for illegal parking on 04/07/2025, and hence a non-refundable £48 co-called administrative fee charged by the rental company of the van to cover the costs of processing documentation, liaising with authorities, and preparing the representation. I communicated with the property manager and she said the PCN was removed but "Unfortunately, neither Green Parking nor I are in a position to reimburse the £48 charge, as this fee has been issued directly by the rental company and does not originate from us."

In short, this so-called "administrative fee" COULD BE COMPLETELY AVOIDED if Green Parking did not issue the PCN wrongfully from the first place, when I had given the REG NUM. to Green Parking correctly for visitor registration.

I am literally paying £48 for Green Parking's mistake. I feel like I am robbed but I don't know what else I can do. Can anyone please advice me what I can do?

STOLEN BMW M3 convertible…

My brother left his BMW M3 convertible here recently and it's was parked in Sheldon only to return from holidays seven days later and informed two hours later after bluffing and panicking that it had infact been stolen!! And they were in pocession of the keys .!! If you want my advice DO NOT PARK WITH THIS COMPANY. This company need investigating and rapid . ... Park here if you Dare !!

Awful do not use

Awful do not use! SCAM. Refused to deliver car. Refused to shuttle us to car. Refused to give us the compound details so we could get taxi to car. SCAM SCAM SCAM

Maidenhead payment machine would not…

Maidenhead payment machine would not accept any registration number to be input , I tried multiple times - I am very familiar with these machines so it's not that I couldn't work it out - so I simply could not pay and left a note in my window stating the machine was out of order. Green Parking sent a PCN and did not accept this - it seems you have to be able to go online and pay if this happens, but I could not go online as I had no data - I recommend you avoid parking with Green Parking if this is your scenario . Never again !

Digbeth public car park

There no highlighted payment sign is not clearly labelled, so you end up paying at the wrong machine which is also on the same side of the digbeth car park. If you appeal you are not given the chance to appeal again. Then they con you out of more money due incorrect placement of paying machine. They also want the money before Christmas too. DO NOT PARK THERE!

Received a PCN on the 12th November…

Received a PCN on the 12th November dated 5th November advising that I had not paid for parking. I had of course paid for parking and have a ticket to prove it. I tried appealing via their website and advised ticket could not be located. I sent a message with the information via their website and as of yet nobody has contacted me. I then called them during their office hours 09:30 to 17:30 no one was there to answer the phone and had to leave a message. As of yet nobody has contacted me. Very stressful situation especially as I have a valid ticket and they are in the wrong!

Presumed guilty due to poor cameras

I was sent a penalty notice for parking for more than the allowed 3 hrs. I had been to Aldi for 1hr, left and returned to go to B&Q over 4hrs later. Presumed guilty and had to provide evidence that they were incorrect. Luckily could find my receipt for shopping by going through a bag of 2 week old rubbish, my dashcam and home CCTV showing my car was back on my driveway 1hr after entering the car park. The problem was that their camera capturing number plates apparently did not record me leaving after 1st or returning over 4 hrs later so took it as one visit. I expect this is due to another car too close that it obscured my number plate when I left after 1st visit.
The problem is assumed guilty. I was lucky I was able to prove my case many will not be able to. On plus side they were quick to cancel the penalty when I submitted the evidence although wording was poor. " on this occasion they would take no further action" - NO THEY WERE WRONG!!!

I paid to park at Empire Way

I paid to park at Empire Way, by Wembley Stadium. Convenient and well-priced.

Then they sent me a fine of £40 (or £85 if not promptly paid).

I explained that I'd paid, provided proof and explained that I'd changed cars since pre-booking the spot so understood their error.

They agreed with me and accepted the proof.

And then fined me anyway (only £15...or £100 if not promptly paid)!

I'll never use Green Parking again.

As an aside, the letter they sent was a great example of awful customer service and how it can damage your opinion of a company.

Lamentable.
