Most of the time it works fine. The products are not always the best, but when you encounter a problem, support is not forthcoming. It was only after posting to this forum did I receive assstance which was very helpful.

I am a new customer and i only started using Green Jinn in Feb, 2026. i made a few claims in the past a few weeks but did not bother to withdraw the money from my account. however, a few days ago, my account got automatically logged out. when i logged back on with the same email address, all the funds in my account disappeared. i sent two separate emails to their support team and i have been waiting for a reply for week...no response from them what so ever.. are they a scam ?

When it works normally, it's ok. When their system has the tiniest issue, they're quick to reject & seemingly a human hasn't even bothered to look at all the photos they're rejecting. They're very slow to reply to queries too. Thier app is pathetic in that you can't upload PDF files. That's how online shopping for Waitrose, Ocado, Morrisons (maybe other send their online 'receipts.' You have to faff trying to take a photo of a laptop screen. Not very clear, so they reject it for being fuzzy. When taking several photo sto clearly show text, they reject it for not showing the whole receipt. I've been trying to submit a Waitrose PDF receipt, I've added numerous photos showing it in full, close up, the title "Receipt for order number: XXX" & keep getting rejected. FGS, make sure your app accepts whatever type of 'receipt' online supermarkets do & make your app accept PDF for clarity (like Shopmium), or second best PNG like Checkoutsmart.
Update later: they’re helpful when they do eventually reply (surprisingly on Good Friday!,) so I'll change the very low starring, because they're reputable, I do understand what they say it's just the app really can be so infuriating, & originally wrote this so miffed after uploading dozens of photos of emails and even printed the receipt out to photo (& still told it 'wasn't an official receipt.')

My receipt was not accepted so I wrote to Customer Service who resolved my issue. They were friendly, helpful and explained the glitch in the system.

I have used this app since 2019. It’s fine when receipts are approved quickly as payment is fairly swift.
Problems arise when I have needed to contact the company. It takes week for a response, which begs the question, is this app extremely glitchy?
Last week, I uploaded the correct receipt two items I had purchased. I received a message saying it was rejected for being illegal. GreenJinn provided no explanation for the definition of illegal, but instead threatened to suspend my account.
I attempted to upload again. This time GreenJinn said it didn’t recognise my receipt and to make sure I sent clear photos of the entire receipt. I have asked others to look at the receipt and they have told me it’s extremely clear.
I have messaged GreenJinn asking why it sent me such an inflammatory message saying I had sent an illegal receipt and to tell me what was wrong with the resubmitted receipt. Let’s see how long it takes for a response.

How is the receipt illegal? It was the original receipt for the correct product.
Secondly, on what grounds is the company basing its false accusations?
I am very disappointed. It always takes a very long time for GreenJinn to respond to queries because it has been busy, answering other queries. Makes you wonder how many people give up!

Poor customer services. I am a long-standing customer of this company and have always been impressed with them however recently I submitted a receipt where the till roll ink was running out so was not very clear. The claim was rejected but despite numerous contact of email to customer services nobody has responded to my query.

I submitted a valid in date,right items bought ect receipt for an online shopping at Tesco back in December 2025. Receipt wasn’t accepted which seems to be a usual occurrence with ANY online receipt submitted to Green Jinn. Usually I contacted them and they eventually reply apologies and credit the cashback. However even after sending five emails and all my receipts again and again I have been totally ignored. Every time I get a “two working days “promise for a reply but still nothing. I would not have purchased those items if I had to pay full price as cheaper alternatives would have been available. Awful customer service. Hope this can be useful to others people who think of using Green Jinn.

Usually they complain as they don’t like online receipt and want paper ones so this time we specifically requested a paper receipt from Tesco which,as it’s not a normal till in store receipt,it comes on bigger sheets which we sent to Green Jinn from beginning to end.

3 separate offer for 3 separate flavours of herbal tea. I bought them all that day only to find they had amended the offer to only 1 whilst I was in store. I queried via the contact form and got no reply after 10 days so sent an email. Got a reply that did not make any sense, suggesting I claim again as per the new offer - there was no new offer! The person who answered my query clearly had not read the details of my query so I set it out yet again and am still awaiting a reply.

I’ve been using this app for many years now. It usually has some good offers, but what’s happened to their customer service? It’s taking weeks to get any response. This is becoming quite frustrating. My daughter emailed them 25 days ago and there’s still no response to two messages. May be GreenJinn need to hire some extra staff?

Just beware that when offers finish the same day, you have until 11pm to claim. Others let you claim after, as long as you bought it in time.

Really Great cashback money saving site.
I have tried a few products I wouldn't have normally tried & got the cashback in my account within a few days.
No minimum amount for payouts also which is great.

They have good offers and cashback is usually processed quickly, but I’ve contacted customer support with two issues and no response in a week even though their auto reply says two working days.
Their response makes it sound like they were waiting for my response when they’d only responded shortly beforehand. After I provide all the details requested I’m still waiting over a week to hear back from them!
