Initially things seemed positive with Grove and communication was good. Unfortunately this did not last long. I was doing a pension transfer with them, as it turned out a huge, stressful, costly mistake. They took months longer than originally suggested which ended up costing me many thousands of pounds in lost valuation of transfer fund. Communication was very poor and most milestone targets missed. They also made various mistakes in the process but never admitted liability, instead choosing to take even longer with ‘reviews’ of what seemed like their own reviews. I could under no circumstances recommend this company.

Grove have replied, I want to highlight that their reply is inaccurate, I will also be contacting them direct about this. My advice to avoid is definitely still valid.

The team of Grove have great experience but best of all I have found them to be honest and utterly trustworthy

Grove pensions assisted in moving my company pension to a personal pension, which will allow me to retire 7 years earlier than planned.
Since the FCA have made this option very difficult Grove made the process was very swift and smooth with true professionalism throughout the process.
The communication was excellent at all times, and there was always someone to answer a question if it arose.

Grove took an age to get it sorted three times the wrong paperwork was sent so BOC could not release the money. In the end i liaised with a very kind lady at BOC who helped sort the correct paperwork. If i had waited for Grove i think it still would not be sorted Grove even said that i could contact the companies concerned, what did i pay Grove to do, i wonder? Again they told me that the money would not be released until they received there fee as this time i would have contested the amount they charged. If Grove check their e-mails it was me that told them the money had been transferred. I am glad that i will have no more dealings with Grove as for what they did they were very very expensive and they blame every one else for the length of time it takes. I think they do not hurry themselves to justify there massive fees Because of the time scale my transfer value went up so they charged me an extra £200 for their so called services goodbye Grove never again

Nothing is too much trouble, everything was explained in plain English and I was asked several times if I wanted to go through with any information again or any questions , all staff were professional and completely “knew their stuff” they returned calls when promised such a pleasure to do business with a very big thank you

Grove pensions managed the transfer of my pension swiftly and kept me in touch with the process at all times. On occasions when I telephoned with questions they were patient and regardless of who I spoke to the staff were knowledgeable, friendly and reassuring. Grove Pensions went above and beyond to complete my transfer and I cannot thank them enough.

In the final stages of my transfer, throughout the process the service has been very professional, regular updates by phone and email, the advisors are very friendly and explain the process in an easy to understand way. Have recommended to two other people already, wouldn't have any hesitation to use grove again, 10/10 thank you.

A superb word of mouth recommendation which I also endorse, with exemplary customer service & communication. Grove couldn’t do much about timings affected by legislature, markets & COVID but they absolutely did all they could to manage everything smoothly around those things out of their control & I am not only impressed but couldn't be more delighted. Not only did they deliver but consistently, personably, with diligence and humour. Phone calls confirmed with emails, utilisation of digital services & IT to expedite especially around deadlines, some of the quickest responses to emailed enquiries I’ve ever seen from a business. Every member of the team I spoke to has been amazing. Thank you, all at the Grove Team.

Excellent service...other pension providers refused to help or wanted money upfront so decided to contact Groves. Glad I did as the whole process was smooth and I was kept updated. All staff I spoke to were friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble and they always answered my questions. Groves also give you the flexibility to transfer the pension to a provider or SIPP of your own at reasonable costs. Great service and hope to use again. 5 stars...

Grove Pension Solutions oversaw my pension transfer with fine professionalism. The process went to the wire with the transfer going through on the very last day of the three-month deadline for my valuation. Although this was a stressful time Grove reassured me that the transfer would go through in time which it eventually did.
