Lovely classy salon and staff.Coffee on arrival which is a lovely touch..hair cut booked with Gary,who listened to what I wanted to achieve from a photo I had.Hey presto some 45 minutes later my new hair cut and style was achieved very very happy with new look.Thank you so much and my chap is delighted the way my cut looks..xxx

I first went to the salon after I’d had my baby and needed some TLC. I was looked after so well and I’ve recommended the salon to everyone!

I explained how I wanted my hair cut, nothing complicated but never to cut my fringe so short that I can't put into behind my ears. He did, he cut it too short that it looked like a helmet! I wanted to cry there and then. I asked why he did that, he told me to wear a hairband until it grew, really nasty. It cost £90 . Worst experience I have ever had. Dreadful man.

Unfortunately my Grove Experience was a little disappointing. It wasn't terrible but not the high end service I expected. Their website boasts talent and experience(of course)but I found it just didn't live up to the claim. I had not been before and went in with a very clear reference of what I wanted, and had, what I thought, a great conversation with the stylist who seemed to understand. However, the result just didn't reflect that.It was a bad version of what I'd asked for. I had to ask the stylist to finish a hair cut and level the fringe! I'm always wary when the stylist spends longer blow drying than cutting. Maybe I'm wrong but it was all very half arsed. If hair is cut properly the drying shouldn't be such an effort, and should not have to conceal a bad job.

I had a free haircut from Sophie, who was training up her barber skills under the expert eyes of Gary. I have never been to a hairdressers before! What a lovely experience! Sophie was gentle, careful and precise. Gary’s guidance was kind, encouraging snd not over bearing. I am so pleased with my cut. Everyone at The Grove Experience was polite, friendly and warm! My wife and daughter are regulars! I believe I will be too! A great experience! Thank you all.

I hadn't had my haircut in about 6 months. I had gone to another salon in Eastbourne and left and cried because I hated my hair no amount of washing and restyling would save it.
I took my time and decided on The grove experience. I booked an appointment with Millie. She was incredible she listened to what I wanted and needed, made suggestions and I explained everything so simply and let me choose. This was the first time I had met her and felt like we had known to each other for years. Would highly recommend this salon. Everyone is so lovely and welcoming and make you feel comfortable. As someone who suffers with anxiety I was definitely put at ease! Thank you!

This was my first hair appointment in a long time, and it exceeded my expectations in every way. On arrival, I was offered a non alcoholic drink from a comprehensive list. The salon was clean and tidy with decor that felt professional and invitingly open.
Sophie was amazing! She talked me through my options for a restyle, explained what she'd be doing and what products she'd be using for my skin and hair type, and checked with me throughout that I was happy with how things were going.
​What surprised me the most was that the hair wash chair was reclinable with massage options, all from a remote, so I could have it how I wanted it.
​She cut my hair and talked me through how to style it. I was so happy with the result. This was the first time EVER that I was completely happy with the result (I always used to leave a hairdresser thinking I'll wash it and restyle, then it'll look right...but not this time!), and I booked my next appointment before I left. Sophie was professional, skilled, friendly, respectful, and sweet. She wrote down for me all the products she used, what order to use them, and the timeframe for my next appointments. Also, the salon has a fantastic reward and loyalty scheme. I'm never going to go anywhere else! Thank you so much for a fabulous new style and for making me feel special.

A lovely experience from the welcoming cup of coffee to the excellent cut and blow dry that Millie did.

Came in today for a cut and colour and had Joe...absolutely over the moon, incredibly talented stylist and never been so happy with my hair, thank you!

Service is 10 out of 10. Luxury treatment is a must....Sophie is just amazing and definitely know what she is doing.

We walked in today for advice. My daughter had put some colour in her hair and hated it. The owner was happy to help and treated her hair, getting rid of most of the colour. She is very happy. Great customer service.

The entire atmosphere at the salon is incredible calm and welcoming. I am someone who avoids getting their hair cut (I even went 4 years without cutting my hair) but I have come here twice already this year and felt confident enough to trust my stylist fully with my cut.

After going to many salons in Eastbourne this is the best. It is spotless,wonderful hair washing area and top notch stylists. I have Sophie to work her magic on mine and always leave totally happy.

Saw Kiki for my usual cut and she did a superb job again. Kiki is truly a magician with scissors. I highly recommend The Grove Experience. The staff are friendly, helpful and experts in their field. I am so glad I found them. Thanks x

Horrendous experience, despite taking a photo with me, making myself as clear as I possibly could, but obviously to no avail. I thought that a £78 haircut would be something to look forward to in celebration of my upcoming birthday. I even made sure that I had the model's photo with me which would avoid confusion or as they put it "miscommunication". I left in tears.

This is a friendly salon . The staff listen to what I wanted and also made great suggestions around style. They are patient, well trained and skillful professionals. I am now a very happy regular customer.

I was in dire need of a colour and cut - hair looked a mess, bit like Worzel Gummidge in a hurricane....I checked out the reviews for the Grove Experience and went in for an informal chat. Was immediately taken by Sally and her ability to make professional suggestions about what would suit my hair and the shape of my face. I was also provided with the quote at the outset and the appointment was made. So - here we are, 4 days post new colour and cut....LOVE it. Bold cut, which really suits my face, lovely colour - really warm shade. The salon was lovely, great coffee and a massage whilst having your hair washed! I didn't quite fall asleep but it was a close run thing! Will I return - yes definitely. Is The Grove Experience recommended? Yes - definitely. And Sally is a star!

100 % thoroughly enjoyed my visit to The Grove Experience...Kiki greated me and we chatted about the cut I wanted..followed into lovely subdued area for hair wash...gorgeous back and leg massage couch..every home should have this...hair cut and finished just how I visualised..short and funky...I left a happy and smiling guest..thank you so much 🤩

changing hairdressers is never easy and I’d been going to the same salon in Guildford for fifteen years. I moved to Eastbourne in the summer and the thought of travelling to Guildford for haircut seemed silly so I did an online search late one evening and found the Grove Experience. The website was fab, a goldmine of information, and to my surprise and delight I could book online with the stylist of my choice. I always value a stylist who knows how to do precision cuts and the Grove had a choice. And I was in luck, there was availability on the Friday evening. This salon is open way beyond office hours! I am thrilled with my cut and restyle from Gary. He gave me confidence that he knew what he was doing and he explained how to achieve the same effect at home.
