Just replied to your other review and want you to know based on how you describe your hair---HairZing will definitely work for you. If it doesn't we will immediately refund your money.

I designed HairZing to solve my own personal hair challenges (which are too many to list in less than a Stephen King novel). I have found that because wonderful women blessed with thin hair are not raised being able to do much with our hair, there is a learning curve at the beginning.

We are also an R&D and manufacturing company, constantly doing research and testing new concepts for challenging hair that nothing else gently and securely holds. I mention this because perhaps you might want to test some new fine/thin hair items that are not yet available on the market...? We thrive on genuine feedback and since we create every HairZing from scratch---there's a lot to learn from women who "field test" new ideas and give us candid feedback.

We will discuss when we talk.

Our apologies. I am refunding your purchase price right now, you will receive a notification separately so you can track it. We are in a growth spurt and really understaffed. Please accept my apologies on behalf of the company.

I also have thin hair -- some might unkindly say I have a scalp thinly covered by hair follicles. It's also baby fine so I know the struggle.
I mention this because I wear HairZing all the time, and find the problem most "fine hair women" like us have is not holding the first comb in place and s-t-r-e-t-c-h-i-n-g the second comb enough.

I keep the first comb by my ear and stretch the second (without letting the first one move) almost to my other ear before turning it down and letting it touch my scalp. Then I let the second comb go--and it fills with hair and stops naturally on its own.

The holding power is only activated when the bands are stretched, and a lot of women don't realize that. When the combs are pushed together, it stops the holding action immediately.

We are refunding your money and also hoping you will keep the HairZing you have and give it another try, or gift it to someone else you think might enjoy wearing it.

We appreciate your feedback! Thanks for taking the time to let us know. As an R&D Manufacturer we live for customer comments because they help us change and develop products.

You purchased the large Banana Comb with flexible wire teeth. We know the wire feels softer than what you might be used to but the reason we use it is because that caliber of wire flexes and moves around thick roots without damaging them.

One of the most damaging aspects of traditional hair accessories is that they are firm and un-yielding ( EX: thick hard plastic and stamped flat metal) that when they come in contact with the supple fragility of women's hair---it's usually the hair follicle which takes the hit and breaks. Hard materials can act like scissors and literally slice hair, but since it happens at the roots, women don't realize what has happened.

Our answer is flexible teeth which are supposed to bend. Just push them back into place after you wear them. We always working towards "perfection" and not quite there yet.

Meanwhile...onward to damage free hair accessories, bras that don't pinch, and shapewear we can breathe in. :)

Thanks! We specifically create that curve by hand (every HairZing is hand woven and beaded) because the comfort starts from the scalp up. If it doesn't hug---it won't be snug.

(That noise you hear is everyone at HairZing groaning at my humor.)

Billions of dollars are spent telling women all our hair breakage problems can be handled by coating our hair in lotions. Truth is, no one ever mentions that putting hair into a ponytail with an elastic or even a tight covered fabric band does MORE PROVEN HAIR DAMAGE than almost anything else we can do.

Seriously. We love science.

Ponytails are awesome for quickness and convenience, but putting the kind of pressure on hair they take to keep up ---damages hair. Not only are our roots pulled tight, the crease left behind is our hair crying out for mercy.
