I would say first of all that all the men who did the work were very nice. But, first of all, when removing the old garage, I didn’t see any particular care being taken with the asbestos roof. The concrete base was built so thick that I need a ramp if I want to get my car in, all at my expense. Having paid nearly £4,000 for this part of the work.

Then the garage itself. Several old black panels were used inside. The window doesn’t open and is constantly covered in condensation. And the worst thing for me is the rain water coming under the door and saturating the first third of the floor. I contacted Hansons about this and they sent me the cheapest GaraDry threshold seal to fit myself. No aftercare. Oh, and the building looks cheap, which at over £12,000 for the job, is very disappointing.

We asked for Hanson's to arrange for their base laying service people to give us quote for site clearance and a base to be layed. He gave us a quote and we accepted it and paid a deposit. On the day he came to clear the site he took one look and declared it was too big a job for him and went away never to be seen again.
Roll on five months and having to resort to threatening legal action we did get our deposit back. If you do nothing else protect yourself from a stressful experience and get yourself a builder to do a proper concrete base and pay by Barclaycard for the buyer protection that comes with the purchase.
We ended up with wooden garage which in hindsight is more expensive but better for dealing with condensation

We all know the great feeling of finally getting your garage etc finally erected.
We all know, the guys who erect the garages, in my case. We're very polite and helpful.
But what about after sales and warranty. Well all I can say is this company and office staff, looked after me. That I only could liken to
Rolls Royce. First class service given like I was a VIP . I would recommend this company to anyone and already have. Would I use again, you bet I would. 11/10 Many thanks.

We had Mike, Jamie and Kyle here today building our garage and very impressed. They listened to our installation requirements and met them perfectly. They were fast and polite and tidy, can't complain, and the new garage looks great - happy customer!

After ordering the building with Hanson’s and receiving the order of what it was going to be supplied, the order was wrong, I asked for 2.5m ridge height and the order stated 2.8 !! after I repeated it several times, the day the building was fitted they forgot the skylights that were part of the order they agreed, after waiting for three months for skylights to arrive They were fitted and leaking when it rains filling the floor with puddles !!!!

Had a new garage installed by this company five years ago. It has leaked in numerous places from day one and some of the roof panels were rusty. When I originally called them out about it they sent out two workmen who didn't have a ladder and had to borrow mine to inspect roof. Don't use this company, they take your money and do a third rate job and don't rectify it.

I can’t thank the guys at Hanson Garages enough. The ground workers had a challenge with the base as I live an a hill. They had no problem getting around the problem and took it in their stride. The finished garage is just amazing. It’s a perfect space for diy and for keeping the car in. The insulated roof and doors keep the heat in very well. I highly recommend Hanson Buildings to anyone wanting a garage at a fantastic price.

Great service throughout, from initial site visit by Andy to quote and ongoing communication.
Groundworks team were brilliant as was Taz who erected the Garage.
He arrived at 7.30am with a colleague who was putting one up further down the street.
They helped each other initially and latterly with each others main doors.
Can't fault Taz, he was very efficient, knowledgeable and happy to pass on advice about ongoing maintenance.
Would recommend Hanson to anyone looking to have a garage installed.

Great company to deal with, good customer service. Spent some time with me getting what I needed right. I sadly had to cancel my order in the end due to having to build a wall that I was unaware that I needed. I felt really bad for messing them around but they were very understanmding about it.

We came across Hanson Buildings by visiting their agents Don Valley Garages & Workshops at Darnall, Sheffield S9 5EX. The service and advice received from Don Valley was exceptional and we ordered a Workshop from Hanson's through them.

There was no attempt to persuade us to buy a building larger or more expensive than what we required.

The actual construction work was completed by Hanson Buildings - (Team 2 Steve and Dean).
The service they provided was friendly and competent.

Absolutely nothing to complain about in any respect and we would certainly recommend these two companies if you are looking for the type of buildings they supply.

We had Team 1, Phil, Luke and Jason who were all excellent with the installation of our new Hanson shed. They arrived on time, kept us informed and did a brilliant job. They were all polite and completely professionally and left everything tidy. A real credit to the company, well done boys.

Everyone was most helpful from my initial enquiry all the way through the process to finally getting my garage up. Team 9 Arrived on time and got my building erected in only a few hours. Worked hard and effectively, tidied up after themselves, and fully explained how to operate the electric door

My garden room arrived on time as promised and team 2 built it all in 8 hours between the two of them a hard working team who crack on with the job! The only snag is one of the windows has damaged but this will be replaced in the coming weeks, the team informed me of the issue straight away. No faults would highly recommend!

The 3 lads who came to fit my workshop were excellent. Mike, Kyle and Luke arrived exactly as arranged and never stopped working. They were so efficient had the unit up and finished in under 6 hours and cleaned up so would never know anybody had been there. Well worth the praise. Well done lads.

Every aspect of buying my garage was excellent.
From the help we got from the women on the phone at our initial inquiry to the installation.
The three installers, Darren Martin and Mark were outstanding. They put my garage up in no time, were very friendly and helpful, and went above and beyond.
Even cleared the whole site after they finished.
