I couldn’t recommend this course more. Our course lead, Anna was fantastic and her knowledge and insight really helped me to feel confident and comfortable with what lies ahead in the world of pregnancy and parenthood.

As a course it’s great because it offers a range of ways to learn from reading materials to videos to the in-person sessions which also included practical elements. It helped me dedicate time each week to help feel prepared.

I also really loved that a social was then arranged as a last session which has really helped me build connections with other parents to be and we’re already meeting up, prior to babies being born.

The classes were excellent, I’d highly recommend to any new to be parents. Both the virtual and in person classes were very informative and done in a relaxed way that make you feel comfortable. The classes are all ran by absolute experts in there fields. Couldn’t recommend these classes enough.

Our experience at HPHB was fantastic. Personally, I didn’t know what to fully expect but we were greeted instantly and asked to join a WhatsApp group with all the other parents to be. The sessions are a great mix of practical and theory and are well structured so that you understand what you are being taught. Our host was also really informative and as a midwife, it was priceless having someone so experienced delivering the sessions. You also get a decent amount of time to speak to the other parents to be which is really nice and it’s been a great way to meet people during this exciting period of our lives. Anybody wanting to do these types of classes should definitely consider HPHB because as a couple, we are so much more comfortable with welcoming our new arrival.

This is such a brilliant way to immerse yourself into the world of becoming a parent, while meeting others on their own parallel journey. The content itself is informative rather than overwhelming; it’s also engaging and hands on and was delivered by an informed, kind and empathetic midwife. I’d absolutely recommend to anyone!

Lovely, welcoming and informative course that made us feel very at ease. We have made some lovely friends who are nearby and have been able to share the experience with others in the same position.

Joined the antenatal classes in Camden, and our midwife/teacher Lindsey was amazing! So much energy and openness, all questions were welcomed and reassured us. We also loved the community aspect of the course, being able to meet local people going through the same phase of life as us, in our neighbourhood has given us more confidence and we look forward to reuniting once the little ones are born!

Super informative and social

Really useful classes, the social aspect was really pushed- something we liked. We’ve already met up with people from the course. Classes were informative and Ruth was a fountain of knowledge. Would definitely recommend it.

Out HPHB classes equipped us with all of the skills and knowledge to enable us to have a truly positive birth experience - which we did! We are forever grateful to the guidance, wisdom and lessons received from our lead Lizzy, who helped assuage so many concerns we had as first time parents

This course was brilliant! A great way to meet other local expecting parents due around the same time and get a lot of helpful practical information and advice. The social element and the access to lots of videos and other resources were a huge plus.

Very knowledgeable instructors, unbiased information provided by healthcare professionals. Would recommend to anyone.

Our HPHB classes in Chiswick were phenomenal. Both midwifes who led the sessions were professional, knowledgeable and friendly. The information shared during the sessions as well as online content was very helpful and well organized. Additional sessions with specialists were led well and offered bite-sized advice.

The space allowed the group to socialize effectively before/after class and created a casual atmosphere. Highly recommended for any new parents who are keen to build some local connections !

We had a get time at HOHB. All the staff were friendly, appreciable and there to chat and give advise. It was so informal which we appreciated too!

Very welcloming & knowledgeable staff at HPHB, well worth doing the course with your partner, you meet some great people along the way!

The class leader, Lucy, was brilliant. Engaging as a presenter and also so open to any questions we had. The content of the classes was great too, and included hypnobirthing which other classes we considered did not. Access to the online portal for videos and other content that we can refer back to now that we’ve had our baby is also incredibly useful. Finally, being able to meet other new parents in our local area instead relaxed environment was also invaluable - I’m hoping we’ve made some friends for life!

Attended the HPHB course in Surbiton having been recommended it by a friend. Our host Gemma was excellent, so approachable, knowledgable and friendly. The content in the course is super helpful and we still refer back to the online videos. Having the practical practice alongside (eg. Baby CPR, bottle prep etc) we didn’t get from books and being able to practice alongside Gemma and ask questions where we needed helped us feel more confident. On top of this, the connections that you make at the group with other parents to be are great and I can tell the group will be invaluable over the coming weeks. Thank you!

The person running our course was lovely. There was no agenda and lots of information without being overwhelming. There was additional online webinars too as well as a learning portal, so lots of ways to learn. It was good to meet other people too.

Really enjoyed happy parents happy baby groups! It was super close to us, meeting other new parents-to-be and the hands-on demonstrations from the teachers. Lots of super useful information, well structured, and great for first time parents!
