We purchased a new television which was delivered and installed by Woolacotts with their usual efficiency, however, there was a faulty on/off switch which meant the television kept turning on from standby.
I contacted Woolacotts who offered to check it out and soon found the problem.
They replaced the television very efficiently, this was much appreciated

Our dishwasher packed up on the morning of New Year's Eve. By lunchtime on 2 January Woolacotts in Bude had delivered and fitted a new appliance and taken the old one away. Outstanding service, thank you.

I’d been thinking about investing in a turntable for a couple of years with our vinyl collection just sitting in boxes. Popped into their St Austell branch and treated myself to the Audio Technica LP120X turntable for my birthday. On setting it up on New Years Day I found that the box with the turntable inside was incorrectly labelled. The turntable inside wasn’t the Bluetooth version which was what I needed to connect it to our Bluetooth speaker in the living room.

I made a quick phone call to Darren at their Plymouth store to explain the issue. He couldn’t have been more helpful! Rang me back within a few minutes to confirm that they had a replacement available if I wanted to pop over. The issue wasn’t theirs, it was a warehouse labelling issue.

Headed over an hour later, swapped the turntable for the right one. Within 10 minutes of getting home the turntable was all set up and connected to our speaker!

Superb, warm sound! So simple to set up. And faultless service from Darren and his team. Will definitely be shopping locally again for electrical and audio equipment!

My washing machine packed up following the recent power cuts (Storm Darragh) and another well known electrical chain wanted 2 weeks to deliver a new machine even though it was in stock. HBH Woolacotts could deliver within 3 days from their St Austell store. I contacted Customer Services to ask for delivery instructions to be added and received a response within 30 minutes. Within an hour of placing the order I had my delivery date. On the day of delivery I had to request the delivery was changed due to South West Water being on site digging up drains (unexpected!). That was no problem and delivery arranged for Monday. Delivery team turned up within the time specified and were polite and helpful. Answered all my questions. it was such a pleasure to deal with a helpful company who are local and have a local customer service team who respond quickly. The flexibility with the last minute change of delivery was amazing. I will definitely be back to purchase from this company in the future.

We purchased a new washing machine, on Tuesday, from Launceston, it was delivered and installed on Saturday.
The installation crew were excellent. The old machine was removed and the new one installed in super quick time. The crew, Adam and Kieran were superb, and so polite. We have had a television, double oven and now a washing machine delivered and installed by HBH Woolacotts and all the crews have been excellent.

Our existing washing machine became faulty,the insurers count come until the 17th after several phone conversation, we decided to ring HBH woollacot Plymouth Their attitude to my problem was first rate and they come to our rescue delivering the new machine on the 12/12/24 and fitted it. I spend 50 years plus in customer service operations! This is GOOD customer service thank you woollacots

Fantastic service from James and Jon at HBH Woolacotts Plymouth. Removal and installation of a dishwasher. Very friendly, helpful and efficient service. Would thoroughly recommend 😁👍

My parents had to buy a new tv and went to woolacotts Bude. They said delivery would be Monday but as they knew my parents and that in their 80s they relied on the tv they would deliver the same afternoon and set up everything for them. I cannot express how grateful I am and they are for such kindness!!! Thank you so much. I love that there are still shops that help the people in their community. Wish there were more

Excellent company to deal with. Competitive prices and great customer service.

If you want something cheaper you could probably find it elsewhere but for customer service, I don't think you can beat HBH Woolacotts.

Five stars for choice; five stars for value; five stars for customer service and five stars for advice and expertise. Over all then, five stars. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Great friendly helpful staff at St Austell and a great price on a new bean to cup coffee maker. A returning customer and very happy to support this local business as it takes on the big names!

The staff at H B H Woolacotts in St. Austell have gone above and beyond with their customer service. The guys that installed our double oven did a great job, showed us how it worked and came back to upgrade the electrical cable on a second visit. This branch was recommended to us by a very satisfied neighbour and we will be more than happy to do the same. Thank you team!

Fantastic delivery and installation of my new washing machine and toke old one away such a good service

Our office monitor decided to stop working, so ordered a new 50" LG Smart TV on line at 9.15am, and it was delivered by 11am.
We have used HBH on many occasions in the past, and have always received the best service you would want. Most of our kitchen appliances at home are purchased from HBH, and when our customers require larger CCTV monitors, we always purchase these from here too.
Very highly recommended.

Went to the Royal County Showground in Wadebridge for HB Woolacotts HiFi/Home Cinema show. Very impressed with the LG G4 77” which we subsequently purchased. Many thanks to Geoff (Branch Manager) for his extensive knowledge and the young lad demonstrating the TV (sorry didn’t get your name!) Very impressed with Sean and Matt (Plymouth store) who punctually arrived, installed our new TV, explained how it worked (no mean feat as we have separate HiFi/Home Cinema components linked into the TV) and above all left no mess! Thank you guys! Absolutely stunning TV!

Had an issue with a repair that was long standing, however spoken with the store manager at St Austell ‘Tony’ very nice man and very apologetic to our situation and took responsibility and ownership. Very nice guy and felt that our issue was acknowledged, thank you and I would ensure that we return as customers. Really appreciate the phone call back to listen to our experience that’s extremely good customer service.

We have shopped in Liskeard and Plymouth, excellent service in both stores, friendly and knowledgeable staff who always make the time to serve you. You never feel rushed and always come away with right product for your needs.

Tony & Ross are a credit to the company. Very friendly and professional delivery drivers that were very patient and courteous with me despite the fact i kept them waiting for 20 mins.
I will buy all my future electrical goods from HBH Woolacotts. We are lucky to have a firm like this locally. Buying off the internet is a false economy anyway - Woolacotts dont charge you a delivery fee and you simply will not get the level of customer service you get from here. For example : I placed an order for a tumble dryer online with them and within 10 mins a representative from Barnstaple called me to arrange a convenient delivery time at no charge. Brilliant.
