I have worked in and around the strategic communications consultancy landscape in London for twenty-five years, and Headland has really stamped its mark in a short space of time. They have an incredibly experienced senior team, a superb reputation amongst their peer group, and a stellar client list.

Headland is creative, diligent, accessible at every level, and they go the extra mile. They make every effort to understand the client, the situation, the audience and to come up with thoughtful advice which they execute faultlessly. I enjoy, and highly recommend, working with them.

I have worked with Headland for many years. During my career leading communications for four separate scaling businesses, they have become my agency of choice. I've worked with different Headland teams across many sectors including financial, tech, public affairs and ESG. Their work has always been consistently excellent. Their client service is second to none. Their strategic process is exceptional. Most importantly, they always deliver above and beyond. Highly recommend.

Engaged Headland with very high expectations and based on good recommendations. But they failed to manage and deliver any serious outcomes for us despite very high retainer costs. In 1 month of engaging another firm we achieved far better results than what Headland even promised!

Do not work with this firm. We are a scaleup with 200+ employees and invited a number of PR/policy firms to pitch to us over late 2023. We recieved a very slick pitch from Headland and ranked them number 1 ahead of two similar UK firms. The Headland team member that pitched to us assured us of their ability to deliver after a previous bad experience. We then decided to move forward, shortly afterwards the Headland team member informed us he had resigned by assured us we would be supported well by a new team. The new team was extremely disorganised, sent us contracts with errors on the nature of the relationship, timelines. The first month had absolutely no progress made despite assures from the partner involved. We also recieved an incorrect invoice for over £50k before a kickoff call was even planned! Headland pitches well but is not an organised, professionla, or competant firm. We hired the two other UK firms that met our shortlist and within 45 days from picking up from Headland we not only had 10+ press mentions but also numerous high impact policy firms. Headland despite stating they would correct their invoicing error then attempted to sue us for payment for a period of less than 30 days of so-called work, still using the incorrect dating on agreements. Be warned!
