Don’t bother using them
This company offer some great holidays but we had a nightmare as they didn’t book our flights or hotels properly. If there is an issue they offer excuses rather than solutions. You might as well book independently rather than waste your money using them.

Thank you for your review. As we have already discussed with you directly, we are sorry that your holiday experience did not meet your expectations.
We appreciate your comments regarding the accommodation and flight arrangements, however we would like to clarify that decisions regarding standby passengers are made solely by the airline and are outside of Headwater's control. Whilst we arrange and book flights as part of your holiday package, airlines retain full discretion over operational decisions such as standby allocation.
We recognise that the situation was frustrating and appreciate the time you took to discuss your concerns with us. Whilst we regret that we were unable to change the outcome, we did investigate the matter fully and provided support throughout.
We value all customer feedback and wish you the very best in your future travels.

Another fantastic Headwater trip
We have had many Headwater holidays and hope to have many more in the future. We have always had great accommodation, a variety of walks to choose from and easy to follow walking notes, and we like that Headwater will organise the travel arrangements, particularly with some locations where trains and connection times are involved. It saves the hassle of trying to coordinate these. This latest trip to Zermatt in Switzerland was no exception. Excellent hotel, food and walking.

Walking round the Matterhorn through Headwater Holidays a first class trip.
It’s easy to book a holiday through Headwater. They also booked our flights, train tickets & we got a Swiss half price rail card which we used extensively on trains & cable cars. Very worthwhile.
Zermatt was an amazing place for a walking holiday with cable cars & trains easily accessible. The scenery was breathtaking.
The Hotel Europe where we stayed was first class. Lovely room with a balcony & a view of the Matterhorn. The breakfast & evening meals were superb & the staff were so helpful. Everything was spotlessly clean. Walking in the Matterhorn was one of my best experiences. The Matterhorn Glacial Experience was particularly good & with the half price rail card it as £60 but worth every penny. Zermatt isn’t a cheap place to holiday but if you get a hotel where your food is included you can save a lot of money. A main course in restaurants was between £30-40. There was a McDonalds which was always busy . The COOP supermarket was also good value for beer & wine, Swiss chocolate & general food. A good alternative to eating out. Overall this was a fantastic trip. I would recommend Headwater Holidays.

An excellent holiday with Headwater
An excellent holiday to Copenhagen, Gothenburg and Stockholm with train travel between the cities and City Cards at each destination. The booking process, the hotels and information provided by Headwater was excellent. There was so much to see and do in each city.

Cycling holiday from Seville to Cadiz
Cycling holiday from Seville to Cadiz. Really enjoyed it. It was extremely hot weather and Headwater’s local agent kept checking in with us to ensure we were ok. We were offered taxis if we needed them due to the heat.

We always have a great time with Headwater cycling holidays. You always find a variety of accommodation and locations and usually provide us with good weather too! Cycling along the Danube from Passau to Vienna has completed our experience as we covered Vienna to Budapest in a previous trip.

Our first holiday with Headwater and our first walking holiday. We loved it! We were in a lovely hotel with terrific food, and the walks in the Dolomites were wonderful. The app was brilliant, we felt secure that we were on the right track and could just enjoy the walks.

Headwater always deliver great…
Headwater always deliver great holidays. We been with them several times, and each hotel or places is a little gem. We have never had a bad holiday with headwater, and it is always even better than the brochure / website description.

We have used Headwater for several holidays. They organize everything, transport, accomodation and suggest walks. The App is very helpful for self guided walking. They book top rate hotels so you can be assured of a great, stress free holiday.
