We've just received our dining table & bench, and wow—what a stunning piece of furniture! After spending countless hours searching online and ordering multiple samples, I'm so glad we chose Dean at Henry Valentine. From start to finish, the communication was excellent, and the quality of the table has exceeded our expectations.
I'm usually someone who likes to see furniture in person before making a purchase, but I'm so glad I put my trust in Dean. We couldn't be happier. My husband says he loves it more every time he looks at it, and I couldn't agree more!

I wanted to buy from someone local and from my very first message he was amazing. He helped me from start to finish, answered every single question I had (and there were a lot!), and made the whole process so easy.
I am such a fussy person and was really nervous about ordering a made-to-measure dining table, but I shouldn't have worried for a second. Dean was so patient, listened to exactly what I wanted, and nothing was ever too much trouble. If I asked for something, his answer was always "no problem!"
When my table and bench arrived... WOW!! They are honestly more amazing than I ever imagined. The quality and craftsmanship are absolutely incredible, and they are everything I dreamed of and more. Every time I walk into my kitchen, I smile!

Dean was fantastic throughout the dining table design process. He was incredibly patient and understanding, taking the time to send us wood stain samples and make adjustments when we weren’t completely happy with the colour choice. He was also highly communicative and always quick to respond to messages, which made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable.

The delivery was equally impressive. The two-man team were efficient, careful with the table, and very professional throughout. They called the day before to let us know their timings, and on the day they arrived exactly when promised.

We wanted a specific size of table to fit our room which seemed unavailable in the showrooms. We also wanted a good solid stunning finish. We found this with HVF along with the very nice owner who made the table to our size and shape.

We met Dean at his workshop and he transformed our dream into a reality. The table is wonderful with beautiful features of high-quality oak blended with stunning, modern steel. It will last many, many years. Dean was great to deal with and is a master craftsman who makes outstanding, eye-catching, bespoke furniture.

Ordered from Dean / HV Furniture in early 2025. Table which arrived was assembled by his colleague, and was absolutely stunning.
Had some minor wood movement (which is rare) and this was covered by the 1 year guarantee.
Dean came all the way from Leicester to Glasgow, and was incredibly polite and efficient - and left the table looking brand new!

I ordered a dining table with Dean in 2024. It was perfect! beautifully made, service exceptional and delivered timely as expected. At the end of 2025 I then requested if Dean could also make a coffee table, in the same wood and black frame - this was recently delivered and again it was another beautiful piece of furniture! Would highly recommend!
