Hertz - Lafayette - Lafayette Regional Airport (LFT) Reviews 

The car smelled of smoke. The check engine light was on day 1. I did not have time to exchange the car as I was running late. I reported it to hertz on day 1. Never heard back. Brought the car back at the end and mentioned it. Was told they would refund me but I prepaid so they can’t. Second time this year I’ve had a bad experience at LFT this year. I have presidents circle. Time to try elsewhere.

Car was clean. Check in out return were smooth. App kept me informed on the rental.

This was my first rental at LFT. Small airports are sometimes more effort than the large frequently visited locations. my arrival took more time as I received an email telling me where the car was located. I went there and then needed to go to the counter to get key. The return was above average and quick.

Ms. Della made my experience wonderful! She is always helpful, kind and willing to accommodate whenever possible. She is a Hertz Jewel!

Hertz representative that I use was very helpful in helping me move my appointment in really patient. In addition the rental experience at the counter was quick and easy and polite.

Ran a scam with a crack in the windshield that they didn't prove.

The women serving at LFT are fantastic. Cars ready to go, friendly faces, they remember us who utilize them more frequently, and aim to serve in an efficient way. For example, when they are working through a longer contract and see one waiting to make a return, they notice, ask for the keys and so the customer can get on his/her way. Just perfect experiences.

The availability of the vehicle. Plus friendly and courteous staff.

I was emailed 24 hours after I dropped off the car that I was getting charged $455 for a windshield that had a chip in it. I never saw the chip and when I called the place I dropped off the car I felt like they didn’t care to hear me. Told me to call the claims department. How do I know no one else used the car in those 24 hours. No one even checked the car when I dropped it off. Not satisfied on how this is being handled.
