Hennah Haywood Law Reviews

I was given HH as the conveyancing law firm through my mortgage lender. I am really disappointed with the service I have received from HH law. Emails that are not responded to, A phone system that doesn't work. Non acceptance of responsibility for errors, oversights they have made. Blame has reverts back to LMS and Marsden about changing requirements. It has taken over 6 months for a remortgage. I received confirmation from the legal assistants that everything was agreed and set, only to find out 1 month later that they now needed to re identify me, giving me convoluted reasons and blaming the lender. I can only say i am really not impressed and am shocked by many of the 'positive reviews'

This is my second time using Hennah Haywood for my property sale/purchase and there is a reason im a return customer. Consistently excellent service and communication. Thanks once again to Rhys, Libby and Farah for everything you've done. Its much appreciated!

Steve was absolutely brilliant throughout the entire process of buying our house. From start to finish, Steve was professional, approachable, and always kept us informed every step of the way. He took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all of our questions promptly, and made what could have been a very stressful process feel straightforward and manageable.
We genuinely couldn't have asked for a better solicitor, and we're so grateful for all of Steve's hard work in helping us purchase our home.
We would highly recommend Steve to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, reliable, and supportive solicitor. Thank you, Steve!

I recently used this conveyancing firm for both the sale of my old property and the purchase of my new home, and I couldn't be happier with the service I received.

A special thank you to Steve, who was my case handler throughout the process. Steve was professional, knowledgeable, and always quick to respond to any questions or concerns. He kept me informed at every stage, explained everything clearly, and made what can often be a stressful process feel straightforward and well managed.

Thank you, Steve, for all your hard work!

My girlfriend and I used Hennah Haywood Law for the purchase of our first home after they were recommended by our mortgage adviser.

You often hear negative stories about solicitors, but our experience has been the complete opposite. Throughout the process, the team at Hennah Haywood have been professional, responsive, and always happy to answer any questions we had.

A special thank you to Barwaqo and Kate, who have been incredibly helpful and supportive from start to finish. They've always been available to guide us through each stage and have made what can be a stressful process feel much more manageable.

We're now at the final stage of our purchase and can't wait to move into our first home.

A huge thank you to everyone at Hennah Haywood Law. We'd happily recommend them to anyone buying a property.

I was engaged with Hannah Haywood as the legal team provided by Skipton, as part of a property transaction. The team were all incredibly friendly from the start, however some conflicting information near the beginning of the process resulted in the transaction becoming increasingly complicated, and taking considerably longer than anticipated.
It was also difficult to contact the team by phone, often having the call dropped or being unable to reach the people on my case (probably exacerbated by holidays, on balance).
Contact via email on the other hand was almost always very quickly responded to, and once the situation resulting from the initial confusion was resolved, the rest of the process was completed efficiently.

Kate and her team were great

The service was excellent from start to finish! Will definitely be recommending in the future, thank you so much!

Excellent communication, fast and efficient

I have just completed a re-mortgage, with a transfer of Equity, using Hennah Haywood at the suggestion of my mortgage broker. The service I received from Kate O'Brien and Barwaqo Osman and their team was faultless, with clear instructions, regular updates and a really useful portal to upload documents to. Would highly recommend if anyone is in doubt!

Excellent service from the start of the process to completion. Kate was always on hand to answer any questions or queries I had. I was regularly kept up to date with the process on my house purchase and nothing was ever too much trouble for them. Kate made the purchase of my house a easy process."

Excellent, efficient and friendly service from Barwaqo and her team - I would definitely recommend!

Hennah Haywood law was great at providing professional conveyancing service. Especially, we were very pleased with the conveyancing service provided by Kate. She was professional, efficient, and kept the process moving smoothly throughout. What stood out most was her prompt responses to any queries or concerns, which gave me confidence and peace of mind during the transaction. I would happily recommend HHL/Kate to anyone looking for a reliable and responsive conveyancing solicitor.

I’d like to extend my sincere thanks to Najmin, Barwaqo and Kate for everything they’ve done for us during our purchase. From the very first step, they were professional, organised and efficient, but what truly made the difference was the genuine care they showed throughout. They guided us through every stage with patience and their communication was always reassuring. Even when the process became difficult. I’m incredibly grateful for their hard work and dedication.

Thanks to Kate & Morgan for their excellent service

I would like to thank Najmin, Kate & Barwaqo for all of their support throughout the purchase of my home. I'm extremely grateful. It was naturally a stressful & uncertain time but the team ensured I was always fully aware of the process, informed at all times & put at ease throughout. The team were wonderful in regards to communication and always responded promptly with guidance & reassurance to my never ending questions/ concerns. Najmin, Kate & Barwaqo are a perfect example & representation of what a strong solid team should look like. I cannot express how truly thankful I am for all of their hard work & dedication, they have set the bar very high and I most certainly will be recommending Hennah Haywood to all family & friends. Thank you again

Working with Barwaqo, Naj and Kate has been nothing short of exceptional. As first‑time buyers, we stepped into this process not knowing what to expect and our purchase quickly became challenging due to issues with other parties - but this team were the reason we stayed informed and supported throughout.

Barwaqo’s communication has been phenomenal from day one. She kept us updated at every single stage, explained everything clearly, and made the entire process feel manageable even when things became stressful. Naj went truly above and beyond for us, especially when we were up against the clock. Her dedication, speed and determination genuinely changed the course of our experience. Kate was consistently brilliant and efficient too!

Together, they were an incredible driving force - proactive, patient, kind and professional. They worked harder for us than we ever expected, and we felt genuinely cared for throughout.

We couldn’t recommend them more. Anyone going through the house‑buying process would be lucky to have Barwaqo, Naj and Kate representing them. Without a doubt, we will use them again for our next purchase.

Best wishes M&B.

I'd just like to say a huge thanks to Kate, Barwaqo and Naj for their hard work in supporting us during the purchase of our first home - they were super-efficient and patient, answering all our (many) questions and generally put our minds at ease throughout and helped us to navigate through what initially felt like a very daunting process. The online portal was great and very user-friendly. I would recommend HH Law!
