After having the car less than two months it has broken down yet again and the hassle I have been getting to get the work approved under warranty is ridiculous 3 days without a car now and apparently the work has still not been approved after sales team are off no help do not return calls and have asked to speak to a manager but guess what no call I have been truly disappointed with the whole experience of buying this vehicle from you I find it beyond belief that you treat customers this way from Alex Steven 😡😡😡😡

My first car from them was OK, but my recent experience has been very different\.

I purchased another car from Hippo Motor Group and immediately noticed an issue with the reversing and gearbox\. I contacted the warranty company, but they claimed it was wear and tear and refused to cover the repair\.

Hippo Motor Group have also refused to repair the vehicle, leaving me with no option but to take the matter to the Motor Ombudsman\.

Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend staying away from Hippo Motor Group and thinking very carefully before purchasing a car from them\.

The entire experience from start to finish has been seamless. I part exchanged my 2 series and walked away with a newer 1 series with any faff whatsoever. Zac helped me find the car at a good price and Matt organised everything on the day of collection. Highly recommend them.

Avoid this company!! I’ve bought many cars over the years from many different Finace and lease company’s these have proven to be the worst. I recently bought a new car and like the other bad reviews on here yes the sales service wasn’t terrible. The day of arrival for my car the nightmare started. Covered in scratches and damage, I’ve had to pay to have these buffed out and put right. To my cost of £1800 I told hippo the situation and I was asked to provide pictures and an invoice from the garage and now I’ve had an extremely rude agent on the phone saying it’s second hand what do you expect???
This was from Claire in customer experience!!! Well Claire my experience is you need to learn some manners.
I’ve been offered £250 which is an absolute joke!! I even suggested meeting me half way to resolve the matter and then I was spoken to rudely again.

Go to another company! I wish I did

Hippo won’t last long treating people this way. If I could leave a minus star I would.

Hope enough people read this before giving these cowboys your time and money.
