Rubbish for outdoor furniture stuff since they used The Range goods. There's little choice now and the Range take between 8 and 15 days to deliver a small item because it's not in stock.

For the second time this week I have been so grateful for the help and kindliness of the staff at Homebase Stroud. I hope that when the adminstration of the company is resolved then a new owner will recognise the value that good employees can bring to a customer-facing retail business.

Kodie (Stroud) was super helpful in finding the paint we needed to complete our project. Went and found the stock and put it aside for us until we could get there to collect. Really friendly and efficient on the phone and in person.

I can't thank Lesley Gaskell of Stroud Homebase enough for the calm and efficient way in which she helped me to avoid paying two parking fines. Unfortunately while I was helping plan my mother's kitchen in the store I received 2 separate fines. I neglected to give my registration to the desk. She contacted the parking company on several occasions over 3 months and without her determination and excellent communication the matter would not have been resolved.

Lesley was a great help today!! Got everything I need!

I recently returned a tin of paint that I found unusable and I was impressed with the service I received. Lesley and Rob were very helpful and they resolved the issue.

Always a friendly face, my youngest son happily spotted Lesley in store and told him I was looking for something which I wasn’t sure if (we’ve done this a fair few times!) Lesley is simply ALWAYS ready to be on hand with a cheery smile and the perfect product! I was looking for a “clear gloss” to give my painted wood a gloss finish and not lose its sparkle effect, Lesley immediately pointed me toward the varnish and the perfect brush accompaniment, a pleasure to interact with. She follows her sale all the way through beginning to end, offering a farewell and wishing me luck on my project, going so far as to ask to see pictures of the result afterwards, giving a a fantastic opportunity for revisit, thus making the customer feel valued and appreciated, well done Homebase for employing staff that clearly do care and always go that extra mile regardless of the day or situation.

Homebase click and collect is very easy and straight forward. When I went to collect the item I was told by the assistant at the counter it was in the ‘collection area, over there’ and just pointed to the front of the store. I asked him where he meant as I couldn’t see any signs stating this. He pointed again and I walked over to what looked like end of like stock items just piled up. I went back to the counter and said there wasn’t a lamp there and the assistant went out the back (where my other click and collect item at the same time had been) and walked out with my lamp!
Very poor customer service which I haven’t received at this store before.

We needed some paint, a specific colour featured in the store display but not available in the store (Stroud) or in the region. I asked Lesley for assistance and she made up a batch of the correct colour using the in-house mixing equipment. Her helpfulness and demeanour were exceptional and much appreciated.

Absolutely delighted with the advice, help and support from Ian today. Ian was highly professional, has an excellent knowledge of mixing paints and how to get the best look possible during decorating. Ian explained how the paint mixing machine works, offered some very useful tips whilst mixing and then very kindly labelled our samples clearly explaining that our match was an excellent choice. Ian was a credit to your team, nothing was too much trouble and his communication skills are excellent. Having been to B & Q first without success finding the right colour for my daughters’ walls, Ian happily mixed the required colour ensuring we were completely satisfied with our purchase. Ian also pointed out that an offer was available on the paint should we be interested - which of course we were.

Julie the kitchen designer and Lesley the assistant manager went above and beyond to make sure we have the kitchen of our dreams. Their customer service was second to none! This was especially thoughtful as I'm heavily pregnant and they took the stress out of getting things delivered and put in place. Julie was fabulous at designing and offering us options and clever suggestions for things we wouldn't have thought of on our own. They were excellent at communicating with us and smoothing out any bumps along the way. They both took the time out of busy schedules to answer any questions we had along the way, and Julie was always on hand and ready to sort out anything that came up (like our hood having to change as we realised we had extra pipework we couldn't move). They made the whole installation and purchase much easier and we would not hesitate to recommend them and the Stroud store in general. The staff there are always incredibly helpful and knowledgeable and the kitchen we now have is truly incredible.

I can into the store today to purchase some garden pots and plants. I was greeted by a lovely staff member, Ross who asked if he could be of assistance. He helped me with identifying pricing for specific pots and recommendations. He offered to help carry my additional purchases and showed me all the discounted garden items and then proceeded to push my trolley to the tills and load my purchases into my car. Absolute superstar! Customer service at its best!

The staff member who I dealt with was really efficient, polite and helpful. My order was ready on a trolley, easy for me to transfer to my car.

All staff are very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. On a recent visit Rob was particularly helpful with my purchase of laminate flooring, including taking the heavy items to my car.

The item wasn't available in store. So I received a call to say they will get if from a nearby by store by next day! Friendly and helpful.

The staff at the Stroud store have been super helpful throughout the whole transaction. Codie in particular went over and beyond to help me with my order.
