“We will be with you in 5 minutes”!
I am writing this review referring to the establishment “Chalet C'Est La Vie” which is managed by Hotel Alexander.
As a former hotel manager, I was astonished over the many promises/excuses which was not fulfilled. The lack of service was always somebody else fault – what happened to taking responsibility and learning from mistakes?
Five minutes turned into hours and sometimes not fulfilled at all (must be 5 Italian minutes 😊).
Check-in took 90 minutes (3 promises: “we will be with you in 5 minutes”!). Many excuses for non-functioning areas like weak/non-functioning WiFi signal (however, strong WiFi signals from surrounding hotels => warning: when their WiFi fails, it switches to data-usage which can cost you a fortune), Ski-Locker did not work (promised to be fixed but…) and a lot more. At check-out we were informed that “somebody must review the apartment before you leave, or you might not get our deposit back”. Again 3 times “we will be with you in 5 minute". After 2 hours waiting, we left without anybody showing up. During this time we spoke to several other guests who had the same experience.
Conclusion: Not a professional Service-oriented organisation. Lack of “listening to your customers” => “Image and trust are earned in drops but waisted in buckets - Warrant Buffet”.
