Not a place worthy to be called a hotel.
The short version of my review is that this “hotel” is just a function sweet for non residents and a facility used by the by another company to sell property in Spain.
These are the main priorities of this “hotel” and the paying guests are priority number three.
I would never stay again and many other guests agree about these facts too.
The staff are beautifully helpful and considerate but seem to be under pressure to serve the function sweet as their priority. Even the manager is very considerate and accommodating but under pressure to serve the functions, that go on into the early hours of the morning, as his priority too.
This is a shame, because the hotel is beautifully located and exceptionally clean and accommodating (to you as a third priority)
I would thouroly recommend it , if you wanted a function sweet too, but not as a hotel (establishment providing accommodation, meals, and other services for travellers and tourists)
As a resident I was treated as a 2nd class traveller, when waiting for bar services I was ignored and other “function goers” were served before me , even though I was waiting first for bar service.
Anything below the function sweet is not a priority, the poolside showers do not work, the changing room and toilets around the pool area are still “under construction” whilst the property selling offices are being upgraded as priority.
Dirty tables, untidy, shoddy and unlearned classes, cups , bottles and ashtrays are all out of sight to the function goers on the main floor.
On Sunday 21 October 2018, two elderly, distressed ladies came to the “hotel” for help. They had left their keys and passports, to their apartment in their apartment and no one could help them to get into their property. The only option offered was to break into it themselves. I offered to get them a room to stay in for the night (no one was available on Sundays) but the hotel would not accommodate them without their passports, even though local prostitutes can stay the night without their passports.
I gave them my room for the night but I was told i could not book another room for myself so i went to the another hotel instead. Fortunately, for the two ladies a representative finally arrived late on Monday morning to get them back into their apartment. So if you buy an apartment from some company associated and located within this hotel, do not expect any follow up service after you have payed for your property !
If you want your children to get some sleep, before the early hours of the following morning, bring some ear plugs or calpol for them because the noise from the function is unbearablly loud.
In summary, it has been a very stressful “holiday” for me and I will find another hotel that doesn’t have ulterior motives in the future.
If you are a believer in god and want a normally provided bible as well, bring your own because none are provided.
