We had a kitchen a little over a year ago from Howdens and what was Designed on the computer looked amazing and How they talked about the product seemed perfect, The staff were lovely and friendly and We felt atease, but when it came to having the kitchen fitted The plans impossible. we had a small room and Every little space matter, I have an ongoing health condition too so we got a new kitchen to help me with cooking. We can't see the plugs , because the cupboards , we're too big for small a room So we have to bend down to see where the plugs are, We were told the cupboards would fit to the ceiling. But it wasn't possible, The extractor fan doesn't really work properly.It sucks condensation out. But drips water back in all over the hob, The corner of the cupboard has started too bluster and The work tops Have chips out of them and the kitchen It's only really used for cooking. So Was not the best qualit When so easily damaged. My child dropped a toy on the laminate flooring We had fitted and Damage it We were told it was the best But clearly it wasnt, It could just be that we were the unlucky ones, But I felt I needed to do this reviewer just so people would be more careful and Ask more questions about the product,

My recent visit to the clitheroe branch of Howdens and needed several kitchen unit doors, I spoke to Nicola and she arranged things for collection the following day, I also felt with Nathan who was equally helpful and courteous, my experience from start to finish was great and would highly recommend Howdens at Clitheroe.

I visit Howdens pretty much every other week, and I honestly can’t fault the service. Sonia always looks after me when I’m there, and she’s genuinely amazing—always welcoming, friendly, and really goes out of her way to help.

The staff are always hekpful and friendly at Howdens in Merthyr Tydfil. Nothing ever too much trouble.

I dealt with Alicia at your Preston branch to design my new kitchen - she was wonderful, friendly & patient - she would get 6/5 stars!
Something has gone wrong with my order though & I’m struggling to just find someone who can resolve it, rather than being passed from the branch, back to the central customer service, who need to go back to the branch, then to area manager… it’s long winded & complicated & I’m struggling to speak to someone who is empowered to just resolve it.
What started with a brilliant experience, is quickly being turned sour by poor handling of a complaint - including being lied to by the branch manager. How do I get through to someone who can help resolve my issue, rather than taking it & having to speak to someone else?
Happy to amend this review & rating if I can get it resolved successfully.

Joshna the kitchen designer was really hands on , however Gary the person who was updating the delivery times and slots was not professional .

We couldn’t be happier with our experience at Howdens, especially working with Mel, our kitchen designer. She has created a truly life-changing kitchen and lounge space for us — it’s completely transformed how we live at home.

The design is not only beautiful but also practical, and it’s brought our whole family together in one stunning, welcoming space that we genuinely love spending time in every day.

On top of that, the customer care and aftercare from Howdens have been outstanding from start to finish. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and the whole process felt smooth and well-supported.

We would highly recommend Mel and the team at Howdens to anyone looking to create their dream space!

What can we say, this company goes above and beyond for its customers. There product is quality and always as described. If your unsure on exactly what you want to buy from them just ask for help and they will always advise you on what to get, all the staff there are so helpful and always take time to get exactly what product you want either delivered or ready in store for you. All the staff are great but we deal with Connor at the willenhall branch, hes always very knowledgeable and helpful everytime we go there and over the phone.

This is the first time I've used the Herne Bay Howdens branch, and I'm pleased to say I was well looked after by the staff and nothing was too much trouble to sort out. When it comes to fitting a kitchen there are always a few things that don't go to plan like items missing or damages, and the good thing with Howdens is that normally everything is in stock, if not it's ordered in within a couple of days. The two members of staff that stand out were Ben and Holly. Holly was normally at the front desk and was always friendly and welcoming with a nice smile. Ben was excellent sorting out all the changes and replacements I needed and dealt with everything in a fast no nonsense manner. All problems were easily remedied and Ben went out of his way to make sure it all got sorted properly. Many thanks 👍

Howdens showed a pleasant mix of professionalism and approachable attitude to our needs. Our designer, Lee Syder, discussed all options with us and his suggestions ensured that our final kitchen design was just what we hoped for

We recently had a new kitchen and media wall supplied by Paul at Howdens, and the whole experience has been fantastic from start to finish.

Paul provided excellent service throughout the entire process – from the initial design right through to delivery. He really took the time to understand what we wanted and offered helpful suggestions that made a big difference to the final result.

The quality of the kitchen and media wall is outstanding, and everything looks absolutely fabulous now it’s installed. We couldn’t be happier with how it all turned out.

Highly recommend Paul at Howdens if you’re planning a new kitchen or home upgrade!
