I bought a new Tissot leather watch strap from the branch - but later saw it was 20mm not the standard 22mm for Tissot. As I live overseas I could not go back - I wasted 26 pounds and I am very disappointed about this - I could have sent the watch strap by post, with receipt, but the branch took no initiative. The watch fell off when I was teaching the strap is so badly fitting. I can not recommend the fitting nor the lack of initiative to resolve the issue.

Visited the store today to collect an item which had been repaired. I was obviously upset that the gold chain recently bought had broken but the attitude of the two sales assistants was very dismissive and not very understanding. i will not be using this branch again and have advised my husband not to use also.
Having bought things over the years at times in H Samuel and never had a problem I feel some training in customer service is needed in Chichester.

The website states no appointment required for ear piercing. To be sure I attempted to speak to staff before driving from Worthing to Chichester, 3 times I called for several minutes each time but got no answer. I then called the Worthing branch to enquire they were open for ear piercings they assured me yes. So I drove there with my daughter & on arrival the staff where so unhelpful telling me to come back tomorrow despite the shop being empty. When I queried the no appointment required she shrugged and said not possible, It was appalling. We left very disappointed. Fortunately Claire’s opposite were fantastic. My daughter now has her earrings but the poor customer service from H Samuel Chichester was utterly shocking and unacceptable this ruined the experience for us today. Your website needs updating regarding booking appointments and perhaps someone should be answering the phone in store.

I had a battery fitted in my Sekonda gold coloured watch that I bought from your store a couple of years ago and whilst waiting I bought another Sekonda watch in a silver colour because I was so pleased with the first one.

The two ladies in your Chichester branch were as usual very helpful indeed and I came away a very happy customer.

I wanted a watch with a strap I could alter myself and that is what I bought.

A very helpful young lady served my wife (who has dementia).

I have ordered / bought few things from H.Samuel and always pleased with the service. Lovely, very helpful customer service. Highly recommended

I personally didn’t find the staff at the Chichester branch either very helpful or very friendly x we were buying earrings for my daughter to wear on her wedding day and tbh the staff were in need of some customer relations training. they were offhand and disinterested and we were the only customers in the store.

The assistants were more than helpful in helping me locate the ring I was looking for.
Even offering a ring measuring service for free if it was the wrong size.
Very polite and friendly.
