Visited the store to have multiple rings resized and one of which needed a diamond replacing, we was greeted by Ellie who was exceptional.
I honestly couldn’t praise her enough for how she helped us so professional, honest and gave us the best service.
10/10 from Ellie.

Just been into Doncaster branch of h Samuel, excellent advice in choosing a ring by Richard the manager. Helped me decide and pick the right one. Infact all the staff were a credit so polite and friendly

Went to the Doncaster frenchgate branch great staff guided us through options and can't praise enough

Went in today to buy a necklace for my daughter, was served by a lady called Trish.
She was amazing. Helpful, took her time to show me what things they had.
She was very happy and helpful. Totally unlike my Mrs who does nothing but shout at me.
Thanks Trish, iv had a taste of the good life, now I gotta go back to being miserable.
Would definitely recommend this store.

Beautiful jewellery, I have bought many pieces and the have been gorgeous.

Just been into Doncaster H Samuel and the assistant who is called Chelsey what a wonderful person she is so very helpful and showed me the product she deserves a reward just wished all shop assistants were like her once again a massive thank you

i came into the store to pick out a watch for a loved one was told by one woman just to have a look and was left too my own devices normally this case i would have just of walked straight out thankfully arj i believe really nice man helped me with my choice in the best way possible need more members of staff like this as its not a easy choice to make when dealing with picking out a watch for your loved one was very patient with me and was able to show me what i was looking for and i told him i'm looking for a deal on a watch and showed me every price difference and detail was amazing all around could not recommend him enough would like to wish him a merry Christmas and the rest of the staff really nice man

Fast easy and stress free

Bought a gift for a special birthday in Doncaster h Samuel’s on Thursday . Both ladies went above and behind to assist me. Very polite and helpful both ladies. Would go back to shop and buy again excellent service .

Me and my partner went wedding ring shopping with a ring in mind which I fell in love with, to then trying on not one but three rings which made it an even harder choice, Courtney was so amazing with our experience from start to finish, falling in love with the dream ring which I picked for our big day. Cannot thank Courtney enough for being so lovely, thank you so much!

I am so pleased with the service from the Doncaster branch. The 2 ladies who served me were impeccably professional. I was a little cheeky and asked to look at the Manager’s own rings, Lorraine, she was really obliging and didn’t have to walk this extra mile!

The company (the store and the 3rd party repairers that they use) have admitted that there was a design fault with my daughters ring ..."there is a design issue with the ring , the original claws are too small to support a stone of that size"
In other words the ring wasn't fit for purpose. However H Samuel are showing (so far) very poor customer service have said that we have to pay in excess of £100 to reset the stone with new bigger tips. As mentioned before there is a design issue with the ring and H Samuel shouldn't have sold a ring at considerable cost that wasn't fit for purpose. I wasn't offered a resolution - I was told to ring customer services - no desire to help in the Doncaster store. After persisting I have been told that the Doncaster store manager will call to discuss. They seem determined to maximise the inconvenience. Incredibly disappointing.

My wife pulled her hand out a woolly glove and a sharp claw of her diamond engagement ring caught the material casing the diamond to fall out, LUCKILY the diamond was still in the finger of the glove.
We took the ring along with the loose diamond back into store within the 12 month warranty period but was told this was down to wear and tear not covered by warranty would be chargeable couldn’t give me a quote or estimate for repair on the day and would need to be sent off, the ring was over £500 and didn’t last 12 months very poor quality in my opinion very sharp claws always caught material causing pulls in material from new. Hopefully I won’t be getting engaged again to another woman but if I do I won’t be using h.Samuel

Hi Emma there is nothing you can help me with now I took it to local jewellery shop who charged me £20 to reset the diamond and clean the ring, unfortunately they told me the issue was down to poor quality claws getting snagged in material I’m sure you could have repaired the ring yourself for us for penny’s but unfortunately this was not the case the ring looks fantastic again and we have had all the sharp edges smoothed off hopefully it will last as long as my 95 year old grandmothers engagement ring
