Until you find yourself in the situation, I don't think you can fully appreciate the miracle of what Neil and image-restore have achieved. My Dad passed away in November 2023, and whilst sorting (or trying to) his personal belongings, among a great deal of things were individual odd sized negatives, badly scratched and in one case, a great big purple mark across the whole negative. I did recognise that the figure was my Dad, so I sent four negatives off to see what Neil could do. Excellent communication throughout, fast service and tracked postage throughout. I cannot express the gratitude, pride and overwhelming urge to show everyone the returned pictures. The negatives are 69 years old for a start! If you are in any doubt about seeking out a photo image restoration, I urge you to have the courage and send them off to Neil and see what he can do with them!

Neil took an extremely damaged pre 1940 photograph that had been lost for years and had been folded too. It was the only photo in existence of a father that my mum had never met as he passed away before he was born. A local professional took a more detailed scan as he did not want the photo to suffer any more damage in the post and this is what Neil worked with. The facial reconstructions are just remarkable. Neil was super helpful through the whole process in asking questions and making suggestions. Within a couple of days I had the proof photo that was just fantastic. He truly is a magician. I was able to take the new photo - along with a blown up version to my mum just a few days ago. To see her face when she saw the "real" portrait of her mum and dad as never before was something I wont forget. She is 84 yrs old and this is the best present she has ever received.
