I used to see this college on magazines while I was a child in the 90s, I seriously thought this is a legit institution and I hate myself for not checking the reviews first.

I sent an enquiry because I saw the course I am interested in and the next day a consultant reached out, we continued with the registration process. The consultant lied to me just to lure me to register. She never mentioned that for exams I'll be required to pay R450 for each module, additionally, she said academic year IS NOT per calendar year. "The day you start, will be the start of your academic year" those were her words.

However, registration process took more than 14 days to be finalised and received my student number to be able to access my student portal. They sent me an incorrect default password and it took me more than 2 weeks to be able to resolve this(on my own). I called no answer, instead I'll be transferred around until someone decides to drop the call. I emailed, never got a response, I lastly went to their Facebook page, even there queries never get responded to except for an auto response that doesn't solve anything.

I decided to play around with the default password & eventually I got into my student account. No clear information on the portal, you just read through what's there. To my surprise I received an email 3 days after I've got access to my student portal enquiring me to pay R450 per module to be able to write my June exams and the due date for payment is 18 April 2022. I reached out to the student consultant immediately with my concerns, she didn't even acknowledge them, she just forwarded my email to some email address I've never seen before.

I now realised I've wasted almost 5K paying registration and the 1st debit order that went off 25 March 2022. I was really hoping to score myself a qualification, instead I scored myself a debt worth R19 341.00 and a threat to my credit score!

Do Not Enrol, They are a REGISTERED SCAM!

IF I COULD GIVE YOU 0 I WOULD YOU ARE CORRUPT INCOMPETENT USELESS FRAUDULENT THIEVES YOUR STUDY MATERIAL IS PATHETIC IF YOU COMPARE THEM TO OTHER COLLEGES SO BASICALLY YOUR CERTIFICATES ARE USELESS JUST SOMETHING TO LAUGH AT.DO NOT STUDY WITH THEM THEY JUST TAKE YOUR MONEY AND REST WELL FORGET IT THEY DONT ANSWER CALLS OR EMAILS OR THEY CANT HELP YOU!!INTEC IS USELES WORTHLESS FRAUDULENT THIEVES AND TAKING MORE THAN 10% OF A REFUND WELL THATS NOT EXACTLY LEGAL THEY TAKE MONEY TO GIVE YOU NO SERVICE!!

Very helpful until they get your money. Then they just do not care any more. Don't mark your assignments no matter how much you beg. Student advisor ignores you. Then you want to cancel and they try and charge you extra. Then they take a year to process the cancellation and give back only half the money you paid for the course that wasted your time. Assignments are still not marked by this time either. When you call expect to be transferred to each and every single branch and department while they tell you they are sorry its not their job or that the other department is closed. They make money off of making peoples lives miserable.

They are absolutely terrible. Been fighting with them since 2017. NEVER EVER STUDY HERE!!!!

I am so disappointed at Intec college I registered in 2020 then I did not revived letter of registration .I wrote exam in November 2020 but till today m still waiting for the result .again I registered for june exam on the 19 April 2021 for two subject they promised to give timetable on the 7 may 2021 but till today m still waiting when I call they say to me by Friday u will get your timetable .poor communication. Poor service and we pay lot of money now I am stucked without Timetable without the results but my money is gone
I am not happy about Intec anymore I can't even recommend it to anyone

I want to warn everyone not to study at Intec college, they are very good in assisting potential students, with queries, enrolments, and payments, and then you become a student because they are so awesome in the beginning, this is where your trouble starts, they promise dates of release for exam and final results, which are never kept to, you always wait for results, and as a student who gives up a whole lot to achieve what you require to pass your studies, results are extremely important to keep a student motivated and to know where to improve if it is assignment results. There is absolutely NO STUDENT SUPPORT. You can complain to their complaints department, you can phone, email, they do not answer you, and if you eventually after 2 weeks receive a reply, it is also not helpful. You struggle to get through on their number when you try to phone. They are extremely unhelpful. I recommend that do research on other establishments, where the current student is as important as the potential student.

Intec college has made my life a living hell!!! I canceled my course with them in 2016, one day after my cooling off period, due to their incompetence. I had to pay the full course fees which I did. However they put a judgment on my credit score even though I paid in full and now I'm being denied a home loan. It's a year that I settled my account with them and it's still not removed from being in arrears. Everytime I call them they keep transferring me from department to department with no help. - Shabana Maharaj

I have been trying to retrieve my certification from 2004. i have tried to contact the contact number provided and each time its the same response, please email ***********. email after email 3 weeks later i receive a response with banking details and and a ref.

I need the damn name of the account not the Banks Name, that i can clearly see.

Clearly email after email and the same response from them, currently ive been asked to put my student number down as the refefference, ive passed the course in 2004 its now 2020 how am i suppose to know the student number from that time, and then this morning after another email sent " whats the name of the account ? "her response FNB" i dont need the damn name of the bank i need the account name.

Can i please get assistance from some1 that knows how to do there jobs and clearly knows how to work in support.

Intec suck, do not study with them, they are a very bad service provider. full of excuses... ull end up being in the rear with payments even if you have never missed a payment.

Do not study with Intec. I misplaced my certificate for something I had completed with them a few years back, asked them to send me a copy (as they should have record on file) and they are completely ignoring my requests, so now, I can not prove that I have a diploma in the field I am trying to get a job in.
