Intern Abroad HQ Reviews

I really enjoyed the Marketing & Communications internship in Japan! It helped me grow personally, especially when it came to time management and gave me valuable, hands-on experience in marketing, design, and even improved my Japanese language skills. I know I’ll be able to apply a lot of what I learned to my future career. I also loved getting to travel and connect with so many new people. The program advisors were incredibly supportive and were there to help every step of the way, which made the whole experience even better.

My remote internship with Intern Abroad HQ was an incredibly rewarding and eye-opening experience! From the very first week, my coordinator and the local team made me feel supported, valued, and part of something meaningful. The projects I worked on weren’t just “busy work” — they were real, impactful contributions to ongoing initiatives that directly benefit the community.

One of the highlights was collaborating on creative media and reporting projects that showcased the organization’s work. Even though we were on opposite sides of the world, the team maintained clear, consistent communication through weekly Zoom calls and regular updates. I always felt comfortable asking questions, sharing ideas, and taking ownership of my tasks.

This experience challenged me to think critically, adapt to new ways of working, and build skills I know will be valuable in my future career — especially in communications, cross-cultural teamwork, and nonprofit support. It was inspiring to see the dedication and passion the local team has, and I left with not only professional growth but also a deeper appreciation for meaningful change.

I would 100% recommend this program to anyone looking for a meaningful, flexible, and enriching remote internship. I am 17 years old and this was my very first internship, and I couldn't be more grateful for this experience. I truly recommend to all ages and typed of people - as it is an opportunity to gain real-world experience while contributing to a cause that truly matters.

Intern abroad found me an internship I really enjoyed doing! All my conditions that I wanted were met and the company that I did my internship with were also very good. The support I received from intern abroad was also great- I could always reach out via email and even had support during my interview. Although it may seem expensive I definitely thought the experience was worth it.

Nancy and Jaime were wonderful hosts and encouraged me to explore Belize while also being focused on the animals. The meals that we got on weekdays were always very good and filling. Being taken around San Ignacio on the morning of my second day helped me to learn more about the area and feel more comfortable and better adjust. I immediately felt welcomed by the whole family and the other interns, and I could not have asked for a better experience!

They were always checking in with me and making sure everything went well. The host family that I stayed with always made sure I had food and was comfortable. I loved everything about it

I am deeply grateful for the internship opportunity provided through Intern HQ. The experience not only allowed me to gain valuable insights into the professional world, but also helped me grow both personally and professionally. The placement process was smooth and efficient, and I truly appreciated the support and communication from the Intern HQ team throughout.
In particular, I would like to sincerely thank Marc Nelson, whose kindness, enthusiasm, and continued support made a lasting impact on my experience. He was always approachable, helpful, and genuinely cared about our development. I feel very fortunate to have had his guidance throughout this journey.
This internship has greatly strengthened my confidence, work ethic, and global outlook, and I will always carry this experience with me.

A great organisation to partner with if you're ready to kickstart your career. They’ll connect you with the right local professionals to help you find an internship that fits. It's a solid way to gain hands-on experience, grow your network, and strengthen your CV.

This was my first global internship experience, and it has been such a smooth and amazing journey. The support of my Intern HQ coordinator and the local team in Prague has been delightful, and I felt very welcome. Overall, this is an amazing opportunity, and I would recommend it for anyone interested.

I had an excellent time on my internship through Intern Abroad HQ. They provided me with great accommodations and internship placement. I highly recommend using them in the future.

InternHQ made my internship search incredibly smooth and stress-free. They helped me secure an internship that aligned perfectly with my goals, and their team was supportive every step of the way. From matching me with the right opportunity to guiding me through the application process, they were always on point. If you're looking for a professional, reliable, and efficient internship placement service, InternHQ is hands down the best. Highly recommend!

All the support I received from the advisors and supervisors was incredibly helpful. It made the preparation process much less stressful and allowed everything to flow more smoothly. The internship experience itself was truly incredible. The only thing I wish I had was the opportunity to read or see more about past interns’ experiences beforehand, as it would have given me greater insight before traveling. That said, I’m so grateful and honored to have gone through such a unique and meaningful experience.

I completed a remote internship with a UK-based marketing and communications company, and overall, it was a valuable experience. I started as a digital marketing intern and eventually took on more responsibilities as a sales and marketing executive. I had the chance to work on real client projects creating social media content, designing marketing materials, and helping manage B2B outreach. I especially enjoyed managing an Instagram account for a university, which gave me practical skills in content planning and digital engagement. The Local Team was supportive and gave me the freedom to contribute ideas and take ownership of tasks, which helped build my confidence.

However, there were a few challenges. Communication could be inconsistent at times, and some expectations, like promises of post internship opportunities or visa sponsorship, were not clearly followed through. More transparency and timely feedback would have improved the overall experience. Still, the internship helped me grow professionally, and I would recommend it to others looking for hands on remote experience in marketing.

My internship experience has been incredibly fun and rewarding. Even though the program is remote, I’ve learned so much, especially about bridging classroom concepts with real-world engineering applications. Everyone I have met so far has been supportive and welcoming, and my supervisor does a great job explaining complex topics clearly. I’ve felt engaged and valued throughout, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to grow both technically and professionally through this experience.

Intern Abroad HQ helped me find an internship I needed to graduate really quickly.
The team responded super fast and was really kind to me.

there is many internships available, it's a little expensive, but the service is great overall.
It was a little unclear where and when I will arrive and start working, but there isn't much else to complain about.
The website is great and easy to use.

The Intern HQ internship program is a globally renowned opportunity that brings together top talents from around the world, providing you with a unique platform to gain real-world experience, and accelerate your journey toward a successful international career.

Really great！I can learn a lot from it and this experience is cool！

I learned a lot and setting up the program was very easy.

I greatly enjoyed my time abroad with this program. The local team was amazing and all the people I lived with will be forever friends. I couldn’t recommend Tanzania enough. I did a medical internship in Tanzania for 3 weeks. My criticisms were that my time in the hospital was very hard to follow as much of it was in Swahili, additionally I think this experience would’ve been better if I was farther along in medical school as there wasn’t much teaching, more watching and helping with things you already know how to do.

I personally think that the internship here is very suitable for first and second year university students. Great for you to explore future career paths. The airport pick-up and other arrangements are very well planned, and the internship content is also very relaxing!

InternHQ delivered an amazing internship experience, combining real-world professional development with exceptional support throughout. From the beginning onboarding procedure to the conclusion of my placement, everything was handled with care and quickness.

The team was communicative and responsive, ensuring that I was matched with a placement that suited my interests and ambitions. Once in New York, I felt supported and ready to tackle both the workplace and the city itself. The placement was important, and I was assigned responsibilities that allowed me to truly contribute and learn—rather than merely observe.

A special thank you to Marc Nelson, whose guidance and support were invaluable during my internship. His professionalism, support, and response helped me feel grounded and confident throughout the process.

InternHQ always made me feel like they were genuinely interested in my experience. Their team was responsive, thoughtful, and clearly committed to each intern's success. I would highly suggest this program to anyone searching for a meaningful and respected internship abroad.
