Top service, excellent food!

Ipswich Borough Council.
They allowed a business to open up next door to us in a garage.
We had doubts as of cars cruising up and down and people Loitering about.
We have now got no privacy now as this is why we moved here 10 years ago as it was so quiet.
The COUNCIL have ruined our retirement with allowing this to carry on.
Her friend who works for the council rewired her bungalow in the council time and there van and probably all the equipment which we pay for.
We informed the council but we still do not know what the outcome was.
The person next door done many things she shouldn’t have done like working in her place when she shouldn’t have done but still the COUNCIL DIDN’T WANT TO KNOW.
She was told by the planning that she must have a slope for her customers also a cycle rack and yet after about 2 years she still haven’t.
THE COUNCIL DOESN’T CARE.

She says on her website she charges by the 40 mins and she only give you 35 mins.
Still the COUNCIL DOESN’T CARE.
So I am thinking we will build an extension and I am sure the council will jump on our backs.
She got all her customers to bully us BUT THE COUNCIL STILL DIDN’T WANT TO KNOW.

I always get exceptional customer service when I go to Millets. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, and never pushy. I love the stuff they have in the shop too... I buy so much from Millets, clothes I wear just for everyday as well as things for trips.

I returned some trousers purchased online that were too big for me. Nice and simple and saved me having to post them back.
While there I had a look at hiking boots. I have nerve damage in my left foot so finding suitable shoes is very difficult. A very nice and helpful sales lady, Dani, helped me. Nothing was too much trouble and I eventually settled on a pair of boots to take home to properly assess their suitability. A very pleasant experience at Go Outdoors.

We went in there yesterday and my husband found exactly the right shorts he needed. He was very pleased. He hates buying anything online.

I've never been to Go Outdoors before and went in spontaneously (whilst in the retail park at another store) as I needed walking shoes/sandals for an upcoming holiday. I was served by Ashley, who was not only very hepful and knowledgeable but also friendly and amenable. Thank you, Ashley, for a lovely shopping experience.

Owner came here last Mayh 2022 to do a report on previous shoddy work done by another. He sold the intended work of his firm as the best there is. We gave him the work he said no date to start given until deposit paid. Paid deposit then the lies started such as i never gave that date. Then told be here on Monday nobody came not told had to phone up oh told will have to find out where theyare. Today everybody carries a phone he was stalling for time as had no workers it seems, Eventually he sent his son down one person where hehad told us there would be two here working. Job ended upbeing rushed and painting not finished so i stopped their cheque until done, Got down a guarantee on paper but been in touch bout looks like a potential problem he told me contact my son he had your money, Checked with my Bank more lies his son never had it went in his bank account,Whatever fo not give this man work he is a liar and the name is BRUSHSTROKES of Blankenham Drive. If you want your windows delivered in a reasonable time shop elsewhere. As most people report, delay after delay. Not turning up and no communication. No one on the phone to speak to. My dates given and changed 5 times are:
Provisional Delivery Date: 11/8/2022
The NEW ESTIMATED delivery date is 05-11-2022
Provisional Delivery Date: 11/3/2022 didn’t turn up
Scheduled for delivery on 29-10-22 didn’t turn up
The NEW ESTIMATED delivery date is 27-10-2022
Avoid at all cost!!! It appears the real company is Ipswich glass @ 8 Farthing Rd, Ipswich IP1 5AP. Their reviews are not much better. You have been warned! Update: due to negative feedback they cancelled my order, laughable 🤣
