Beyond helpful

I can't thank Steve and Ivythorn for making the experience of buying my first Shotgun such a pleasure and education ! From the minute I arrived I was welcomed like an old friend and had a cup of tea in my hand in seconds.

We went into the gun room - The only words I could use was "wow" this is "proper".

Steve was so helpful, teaching me how to buy guns and what to look for etc. Then onto the gun I wanted to buy. It was advertised as nearly new which was 100% spot on ! I had looked at the same new gun that morning at my gun club and to be honest I could not tell the difference. After a good hour chatting (and learning) Steve invited me to hit a few clays (about 25 actually). He was never pushy, didn't try to oversell to me etc. The whole experience could not have been better - I can't recommend Steve and Ivythorn highly enough especially for a novice like me..

I will be guying from Steve again (and again, and again)

Steve is a really nice guy to do business with, 7 years ago he set me up with my dream rifle in what was a lovely unpressured experience of testing rifles and getting the choice just right. Six years later my good lady went down with Cancer and I needed to lighten the load, contacted Steve to see if he could help sell my rifle on. This is when a trader shows their quality, in a slow market, he could have said no, sorry can't help? Far from it, remembered me straight away and conjured up a deal to shift all the kit I sent him and gave a return far above what I was expecting and what others had offered? Needless to say I'll be back soon as I can to buy from this again!

its such a scam website，no response ever！！！！！

Brought a scope which was then returned within 1 wk due to a fault, this was sent insured and tracked and has been delivered, i am lucky i took photos inc serial number, 2wks later no reply from Steve after several texts, had to contact credit card company to file a dispute, next will be small claims court, all this hassle over a scope, he advertises as 'HONEST' , i think he needs to buy a dictionary. Before there was an issue Steve came over as a proper nice guy, even changed my scope to a different reticle and even returned calls however as soon as there was an issue then nothing, its more annoying when a message has been read and ignored 'Whattsapp' I am absolutley disgusted with this individual. I will pursue this legally, these people cannot be allowed to treat others in this way.
Update,Steve contacted me yesterday with full apology about poor communication and has my Brand New replacement scope which shod arrive today 16/09/2022, he was very apologetic and has rectified the issue hence the addition to the review, fair play issue resolved.

This is my fourth purchase from Steve and every time it is fantastic. He always has a great selection, he is extremley knowledable and the no pressure buying experience is a real bonus. The onsite faciliities to test Clay or Rifle are also really good. I would recommend without hesitation if you are in the market for a Shotgun, Rifle or Optics.

Recently had dealings with Steve from Ivythorn Sporting. Can 100% say I would recommend this man. I bought a brand over the phone without ever seeing one in the flesh but after speaking with Steve during the sale I believed I knew what I was getting. I was wrong. It was far better than I expected and the service Steve gave was 2nd to none. Ever detail was covered. Just wish I lived closer as this would be my local gunshop for sure. Totally recommend him! Thanks Steve.
