Go to Tunbridge Wells a lot, usually have the lemon drizzle cake. It's usually stale and dry now.
Last week it was so hard it hurt my hand to break it up with a fork. Must have been at least a week old?
Costs nearly £5, not good enough!

Jamaica blue bracknell. Where to start .disgusting food disgusting service. Ordered 2 coffees 2 big breakfasts over £30 and we have never eaten or didn't in this case as it wasn't edible. My wife's scrambled eggs where dry rubbery and flavourless .my fried eggs where brown and crispy underneath totally over cooked. Both our mushrooms where oily and chewy our tomatoes were barely cooked. The bacon was again over cooked and crunchy. The toast had a stale taste and was barely toasted and not butter.The Cumberland sausages where cheap skinny flavourless.the hash browns where barely cooked and soggy.the only thing that was ok was the coffee.
SERVICE: The service was terrible and to be honest alarm bells should have been ringing sooner.just the fact the waitress or waiter didn't come and ask how everything was after serving us should have been a warning. The fact that no one was interested how the meal was after they have taken your money is disrespectful to customers. Infact they don't come back to clear the table until you get up and leave.We bought a second coffee and when the waitress came out we told her to clear the uneaten breakfasts as they where disgusting and I explained why and asked she informed the manager of our complaint. She took one plate and never returned for the other nor did a senior member of staff bother to come out to try and resolve the issue they just left us sat there.Only when we got up and walked away did she come straight out and cleared the table. This establishment clearly doesn't value its customers nor does it care about the quality of its food as its clear once you pay they no longer care.Also the fact I have a disability and on crutches and I made the waitress aware of our complaint its not for me to go chasing around looking for a manager .they should have come to us.

Just been to the newly opened Jamaica Blue cafe in Sutton (SM1). Best coffee in Sutton by miles and excellent friendly staff, very eager to please. The maple & cinnamon pastry was delicious. We didn’t try any other food, which looked quite pricey (but I suspect very good) 😊😊😊😊😊.

We went to the Bracknell Jamaica Blue cafe last week and this week and on both occasions we enjoyed a brilliant and fast service from a very weloming staff. Both the coffee and their eggs benny were of the highest quality and very well presented in a well laid out eating area wiith a good ambience
I am sure that following Easter we will return to treat ourselves to what is so pleasurable an experience.

I've enjoyed the experience, managed to enjoy a breakfast before i studied for an hour or so, no problems; little bit noisy but what do you expect.. friendly staff, very polite, No problems at all.

I love this coffee shop. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. The food is delicious. Always hot and delivered promptly. The coffee is the best I've tasted!!!! Highly recommend this coffee shop 👍👍

Eastbourne. Arndale Centre. Friday 20th Feb 2.30 pm. Ordered a breakfast. Waited just over 30 minutes. Cold scrambled eggs. Burnt bacon. Blackened toast. Uncooked tomatoes. Shriveled single mushroom. Absolutely inedible.

Jamaica Blue cafe Broadway Bradford.Visit this branch once or sometimes twice a week . Cannot fault it for customer service and food and drink. Everyone always friendly, the best coffee in Bradford as far as i am concerned. I recommend it , i ' rather go in there than other so called coffee houses. Prices good too.

Looking forward to trying here, food looked good, made a selection for takeaway, paid & waited to be handed our food. The server disappeared & wandered around, after 5 minutes we questioned where our items were to be growled at ‘being heated’ .
Explained that we didn’t expected it to be heated, we hadn’t been asked & what’s the point of heating it to take home & have to re-heat.
Server was verbally aggressive & said it was my fault I should have said don’t heat it, I tried to explain that he as the service giver should have asked the question.
We requested the items again & he again took them out of view into the kitchen, I suspect, due to his aggression & the time he was missing, to contaminate it so we asked for a refund.
The server constantly growled at us, was rude & lacked understanding of the situation. Thank you to his colleagues (2) who did apologise for his behaviour.

So wanted to like this place as the menu is a little different to the other cafes, so disappointed

Observations- it looks nice & clean but the counter is laid out backwards, you enter, walk to the end of the counter & work back towards the door to the till. 4 other people/ couples came in & stood next to us believing they had joined the queue, they had infact placed themselves at the front of the queue jumping in front of those waiting behind us (yes we did politely let them know the queue went the opposite way)

The staff servicing outside, cleaning tables etc should wash their hands before jumping straight back behind the counter to serve food.

Went in with a friend, ordered two coffees and a mozerella & tomato sandwich for my friend and I ordered the Bombay wrap. The coffees took forever to be served but the worst part was the food. It took them over 30 minutes and several complaints later to serve the cheese sandwich and then after a long time, the Bombay wrap. The Bombay wrap was a horror story, because I took a bite and discovered that the base used was tomato ketchup and rocket! This is not Indian food, this is absolute cr*p! I spoke to the so-called 'manager' there and asked for my money back and he kept parroting like a robot that they do not issue refunds but offered me 50% discount on something else to order!

He then asked me if I wanted to take the food with me as take away! I told him that since I could not eat it on their premises, what makes him think I could eat it at home?

This is by far the worst restaurant / cafe I have ever visited. The food and service were atrocious and no wonder with so many terrible ratings.

I ordered a ‘mozzarella, tomato and basil Spaniard (I am intolerant to chillies and peppers so my choices are reduced). When it arrived it was smothered in basil pesto and no basil leaf to be seen. I do not like this pesto at all so was disappointed.
However, more importantly, there was no mention of pesto on the label. There are nuts in this pesto and anyone with a nut allergy could well have ordered this and then gone into anaphylactic shock, or worse. A very serious omission. This must be addressed.

The barista skills were excellent. Most of the staff were extremely smiley and friendly. Nice clean environment. Fast service.

Rushden Lakes branch.

Very friendly and helpful cafe,good food and a very impressive range of coffees.It's clean and tidy with lots of seats.But best of all is the hard working professional staff, especially the wonderful Riya,who is the top barista here.

Won’t be going again, rudest staff member at the junction 9 branch. Just wanted a snack for my little boy and ordered at 3.20pm. A lady at the back shouted about me “That’s the last one, I do want to go home today” never felt so low from such poor experience.

Ordered two scrambled egg on toast out it came one small bit of sourdough bread and very little scrambled egg for the price I paid it thought it was a rip off will not be back not worth the money.

Visited the Ipswich one a couple of weeks agofor the first time, the table was dirty so I had to clean it myself, then my pot of tea arrived and they spilled it all on the tray and in the saucer and then dumped it on the table that I had just cleaned had to clean it again. The knives and forks were not clean and had to clean then as well. I ordered the poached eggs with sourdough toast and the toast was black, had to ask for it to be done again and not burned, they done me some more but the toast was so hard I couldnt eat it, and the eggs were like bullets, so I left it all, my daughter liked her pancakes though. thought we would try it again yesterday, The knives and forks were in a napkin and there was a big fat black hair about 12" long wrapped around the fork, dusgusting. I ordered the tea and they spilled it again so I had to clean it up. They didnt give me any milk and had to go back to get some, I didnt want any food because of last time so my daughter ordered Mac&Cheese, a hash brown and some chips, we asked for some mayo, they gave a little pot, I tried a chip dipped in the mayo and the chips were so dry I couldnt hardly swallow it and the mayo tasted really bad, my daughter sniffed it and said that it was off and didnt have any. The hash brown hard hard bits in it but she like the Mac & Cheese. within about 10 minutes I was feeling really sick, we left and went straight home where I spent the rest of the day throwing up, the only thing I had eaten all day was that chip with mayo and the pot of tea, so it had to be one or the other. Today is the next day and I am still feeling sick, I dont like to leave poor reviews thats why I didnt leave one after the first time about the burned toast and hard poached eggs, and at £7.50 , its not hard to poach a runny egg, I dont think I will be going there again as everything is is overpriced and of low quality. even the hot chocolate is £5.50. I did complain that the hash brown had hard bits in it and the chips were terrible and she said "ok, I will let them know", no sorry or anything or offer to reimburse me. It doesnt deserver the 1 star I gave it but I could not give it an less.

They were going to charge me £3.60 for a croissant. I cancelled. So expensive . Coffee was £3.90. I will try McDonald next time

I visit the branch at The Glades, Bromley, every few weeks and i hear tje same complaint that the cakes & sandwiches on display are not priced. I pay £7.80 for a medium black coffee and a small almond croissant. The is drinkable, nothing special, as is the croissant which for some reason comes with whipped cream. The place it self is clean and tidy with spaced out seats. I visit as it is one of the few places left that take cash.
