Disgusting Shell “chicken” sandwich. Made with almost 100% skin and gristle. Difficult to spit out on public transport but had to do it! Feel really sick!

Fancied a bacon and cheese turnover, disgusting god knows where that rank sauce came from. Taste like it was wiped on the floor of poorly maintained sewage plant. And the sausage roll was just a chopped up onion in pastry. By far the worst food to be sold. Will be avoiding all future stops at shell garages.

How does a well respected chef associate himself with such attrocious 'food'? It was as though he'd used my pastry for a toilet????? What's with the promotion of healthy eating about Jamie because all that range has is is greasy fatty and terrible snacks. I suppose he succeeded in making me eat healthier actually as I couldn't eat that devil's excretion you called a steak slice even if I was starved. This is why Gordon Ramsay has done so much better than you because he'd spit on that slice if he saw it.

The best food I got from a garage ever in my life. Pulled pork pasty roll, hot. Was amazing!! Brilliant stuff. First review I've ever written coz it's so good. People must know 👍

I bought a sausage and egg roll form the Shell garage near the Black Cat roundabout on the A1. Something very wrong with the egg, tasted foul and was inedible.

Overpriced food, ironically full of grease and fat, I felt way unhealthier leaving the restaurant than eating in a fast food chain.

The Bombay chicken slice from shell was awful. Hardly any filling, clearly been made as cheaply as possible to maximise profits. I don’t know how Jamie Oliver can put his name to this awful food. Never again

Jamie Oliver’s shell sausage rolls are the worst thing Iv ever eaten absolutely disgusting And a waste of money il be staying clear of anything with his name on from now on 🤢

It was our first experience of buying Jamie Oliver deli by Shell and quite frankly it will be our last. I purchased two Tomato Chutney Bacon rolls for my husband and myself. They were inedible. No chutney whatsoever. The bacon was white and tasteless and the bread was dried out. One bite was enough. Absolute insult to expect anyone to eat this sort of expensive rubbish ☹️😫🤢🤮

Cannot believe that Jamie can put his name to a cold,over cooked,greasy and dull bacon and cheese turnover!
He preaches healthy food but puts his name to this overpriced rubbish!!! I think he is trying a bit too hard! Take a pay cut Jamie and stop trying to claw back the losses from the failed restaurant chain!

What a shame that a chef like Jamie Oliver NEED to do TV shows and write cooking books because of money and greed instead of just cooking as he is trained for.
But I guess he is just too LAZY for that.

Bought some carbonara pasta, honestly I haven’t ever eaten something worse,the dry pasta over just simply oil , my friends also had a crap experience.

When travelling far, especially during lockdown, you're going to get hungry. At the Shell Woodhall M1 southbound services, along with my coffee I decided on the "chicken bake" pie advertised on the shelf. Convinced it was going to taste like a chicken bake chicken mushroom pie, sold EVERYWHERE in the world. Suffice to say, I will never again buy food from a shell garage again. I almost crashed off the motorway. I was so excited taking a bite into this pie, and threw up over myself.. I stared in horror at the aweful mess in my hand.. it says "balti mix chicken pie" at the bottom of the wrapping, it was a sick joke & a guileful play on the words "chicken bake". Be warned people!

stuck on a3 and went into shell for a nice sausage roll only to come out with a sausage we though was gone off and tasted awful it was filled with onions and celery, get your act together man

The problem is the aluminum,,, aluminum pans, cooking the potato's using aluminum foil over food . Stop promoting aluminum around 😒 food!! Ceramic pans only ,, \ ,glass.

Ok so today i went for the (REAL) Cumberland sausage and egg roll, The egg was like a rubber golf ball and the sausage was just eww. The roll was soggy inside and rock hard on the bottom, safe to say ill be going to Gregs tomorrow. Currently eating a triple Chicken and stuffing meal deal, Granted the bread seams fresh the chicken is ok but the stuffing ruins it all its got like strings of plastic or something inside that keeps you chewing forever!, One stop meal deals are 100% better and cheaper.

Lots of really bad reviews which is strange as I have had sausage rolls now like ten times at least and love them, better than Greggs any day, not tried the other stuff but it looks mostly just as good, not sure these reviews are genuine, suspect might not be
