This company does not respect anything, removes your annual reduction of 40% on the price overnight under a false pretext and without having asked for anything! No possibility of negotiation with closed customer support that makes you understand that it is like that, and that you have to pay full price, even if you have been a customer for 4 years.

Excellent company
Excellent company, fantastic tools that just works and make you really productive. I also asked for a financial help from jetbrains as I wanted to keep using Jetbrains Academy for upskilling but since I have to pay two rent at the same time it was a bit difficult for me to pay immediatly for an other annual subscription. They understood my situation and gave me 3 month for free. This is really appreciated.

"All Products Package" Downgrade Kundenerfahrung
Wer sich das "All Products Package" kauft um zu prüfen, was er wirklich benötigt wird bei einem Downgrade nur 1 Produkt mit dem entsprechenden Abschlag per Jahr bekommen. Meine Empfehlung ist: Nur das kaufen was wirklich benötigt wird und vorab prüfen, ob andere Produkte nicht ebenfalls das Erforderliche können.
Manche der Produkte sind ganz brauchbar aber manche eben auch gar nicht bzw. werden mit OSS Produkten sogar besser gelöst.
Anm: Bewertung geändert nach neuer und besserer Kommunikation.

14 years and still no resolution to an issue...
Although JetBrains ReSharper is a useful product, there is a really annoying and time wasting problem with their software that was first raised 14 years ago and has not been resolved.
JetBrains have basically refused to address the issue which would be really simple for them to fix. If they don't care about their products then neither do I.

I despise working with their products
Every time I try and fix an issue with something in a JetBrains product, it is so difficult. They hide everything that the tool does from you, the documentation is awful because it only gives the easiest happy path answers.
Stop using big clunky tools from Jetbrains and move on to better software.

New customer
I'm a new customer and let me write about what you would expect from JetBrains.
First thing, they offer 30 days trial on their IDEs. This is really nice because it is more than enough time to evaluate the IDE. It was enough for me to consider getting a year of subscription after the trial ended.
I had some questions regarding the IDE itself (technical) and about getting a subscription but for a different email. All questions have been answered (via email) within 1 business day, sometimes faster. Their customer support not only answers inquiries, they also provide helpful links for further reading if you'd need to. To me, that's top-notch customer support.
Regarding the IDE itself, I'm shocked that this beast runs like it's not a heavyweight. It starts within a few seconds. To be honest, comparing to VS Code, I don't see much difference in performance, and JetBrains' IDEs are packed with so much productivity features that I consider it a heavyweight.
I also liked the fact that when I used another account (logged out the old account and logged in with a new one), it retained the settings of the IDE. I was scared that it would reset the IDE settings because I switched to a new account.
My favorite features of JetBrains IDE:
1. Find Usage / Go to Declaration
- this works even on a dynamic type language like PHP. Really helpful especially for large projects!
2. Inspect/Analyze Code
- this is without a doubt my most favorite feature. This alone is worth the subscription!
3. Retains current IDE settings even when you logged in with a new account
- removes the pain of reconfiguring the IDE again. It can even sync to your other devices!
4. Easy to switch accounts
5. Powerful plugins
- I think every useful plugin exists in JetBrains! You can also easily disable plugins you don't need.
6. Perpetual Fallback License
- if you subscribe for at least 12 months, you'll automatically get a PFL. There are just times that you're too broke and won't be able to renew, no problem, you can keep using the IDE.
Conclusion:
I definitely recommend JetBrains IDEs especially if you're a professional. They just make programming a lot easier! You won't need any other IDE, everything is here. Easily worth the subscription.

i used jetbrains IDE for java and it was great
then i moved to Rider for unity projects and it was easy and friendly user
then i webstorm for angular and it was awesome

Customer Support is not what it used to be.
The customer support in the last year has really gone down hill. Reported issues are not being responded to in a timely manner. I have one that has not been responded to for 3 weeks now.
Great IDE
Used Intellij IDEA with Java for two university classes. Loved it. Good product, keep up the work.

Fantastic software and lovely people
A few months ago we started using their DataGrip software and our admin who handles purchasing still practically swoons over how helpful and responsive they were, especially in comparison to other companies she’s dealing with.
We work offline and JetBrains gave us the licenses for that like within a day. They also said it’s fine for me to use DataGrip on my laptop at home as well as the server at work, which I appreciate.
DataGrip itself is amazing and I am delighted with the new release which allows you to migrate multiple tables from one db vendor to another — it’s what inspired me to finally write this review. I’ve just used it to create postgres versions of our sql server databases and even though no keys were declared in the original databases, it automatically assigned virtual keys and the resulting diagram is a thing of beauty (well, considering it’s a diagram).
Their online tutorials and documentation are also very helpful and extensive.
At the risk of sounding like an enthusiast, JetBrains is one of the best companies I’ve ever dealt with and recommending them to my employer certainly did my reputation no harm. Just hope they don’t get bought out or something and turn to the dark side.

I used to be a happy customer. Lately I am more and more annoyed by all the bugs. Especially in regard to the Remote Development Beta. Sure, I would expect bugs in any beta. But this is a total disaster. There is no excuse for releasing a so called beta that causes hours of data loss. Not once, not twice, but 3 times. Next time Jetbrains releases a new product I will sure think twice. That is for sure.

I've tried their products a couple times, and work with a colleague who uses their products daily. After contacting support several times for a couple small issues it seems clear that they're dedicated to quality

Jetbrains is a Russian company and can steal your data
Jetbrains is a Russian company, so be ware that they can steal your personal data. Jetbrains Academy is very old and very expensive. The prices e started from 300 euros, which is more expensive than courses at Harvard university.
