Some time ago I was foolish enough to buy a JVC 55" TV set. It was always a problem to access the internet as a software glitch prevented a code being typed correctly. On contacting JVC customer support , they told me this set was not manufactured by them, and they could not offer any help. So why do they put what was once a respected name on a piece of junk that will not access the internet. This machine has caused a lot of frustration, and now only a few years old it is looking for a dustbin. How can a manufacturer be allowed to put their name on an item and then wash their hands of all responsibility. Needless to say , I will not consider buying this brand again.
Rudest customer service staff I've ever spoken with
Bought some earbuds that I returned. So many emails exchanged and ended up having to call because they just gave me canned responses and did not actually answer the question. When I called, I got the rudest guy I've ever spoken with in customer support. Why JVC USA tolerates that behavior is beyond me. I've bought JVC (and Kenwood) many times before, but I'll never buy from them again after that experience.
My television is pants
My television is pants. When it works it works but sometimes I cannot access anything and it's not what I expected when I bought it. It's a cheap television but it shouldn't be as difficult to use as it is.
Absolutely dreadful television
Absolutely dreadful television. I have spent half an hour trying to watch sky news over WiFi via the Sky news app. After unplugging and then starting it up again, it connected to WiFi. Despite having gigabit internet and the tv being 6 foot away from the repeater, Eventually watched 5 mins of buffering news before TV decided to return me to Home Screen.
When you press a button on the TV remote, it takes seconds for the TV to respond. If the TV hasn’t been used for a few weeks, it has to be re set before it’ll connect to internet.
It’s just dreadful.
HA-S75N headphones: a waste of $99
The HA-S75N headphones are a waste of the $115 I spent on them (including tax). The instructions are useless. There are 5 buttons, and only the +/- volume buttons are understandable. The other buttons are not identified in the instructions. So we are magically trying to figure out out these waste of wannabe music that will never be heard.
TV often hangs up
TV often hangs up, needs to be unplugged completely to reboot. Takes an age to activate the connected hard disc, many recordings lost. There is no JVC support as they have an exclusive deal with Currys. If I'd known that before I bought I would have looked elsewhere and bought a different brand.

The JVC HA-A18T are horrible. The connectivity is atrocious and continuously disconnects and reconnects all the time even after being connected

It freezes, it lags, it goes blank, it constantly needs to be reset (I’m talking twice/thrice daily). The sound quality is similar to two tin cans connected by a length of string. It’s an endless source of frustration! Avoid this brand of TV like the plague! Utter dog shit (the sloppy kind that you can’t pick up).

If you're going to buy a smart TV pay a little more because these TVs are shocking you have so much trouble with the remote control very slow would not call it smart
JVC has no customer support!
I have a PTZ camera, bought from a reseller of theirs in the US. It failed after about 9 months and the reseller got no response for JVC. Eventually they found a repair shop that does warranty work, but no diagnostics on the phone. I tried calling the customer support line and it said there was no one to take my call and hung up - no way to leave a message. I tried emailing customer support in the US, and it bounced back. My best recommendation is stay away from JVC at any cost. They are not a good company to do business with, even with professional products.

Hilarious to see so many people having issues. What are you doing to your devices?? Take care of them and they’ll keep going. Recently bought a 43” jvc smart tv, absolutely no issues with sound/wifi connection/hdmi use. Maybe its your wifi which isn't up to the job, don't be a cheapskate. Pictures perfect, easy to connect a soundbar as well as a Xbox and ps5.
