We love COA MY SON IS ON HIS SECOND YEAR

My daughter has thrived since switching to KYVA! I would highly recommend to anyone considering the switch from traditional in person learning.

I appreciate the ability of my children to have the option to take advanced level courses (AP, Dual Credit). I do wish students (especially middle schoolers) had more options for elective classes.

I've been having a great experience with k12. My children love the flexible class times and the friendly teachers and kids

This schooling option has been a blessing to our family. My son has stayed on track with his education AND is at home in a controlled and safe environment.

We opted for FLEX because it takes many teachers 15 minutes or more to get the class focused for actual learning. I personally sat in a couple classes and found it to be unorganized and somewhat a waste of time. Some of the apps that the teachers use either have issues or the teachers don't use them correctly and students get the short end of the stick. I think the apps are sometimes used in place of actual teaching. We thought that if a student did well they could move through the curriculum and my son would be challenged but we found the program to be easy for him with little time and effort so I am not sure of the learning that took place. We will not be returning because we do not feel it is a good fit for our child.

I like the teachers and everything about the school. I had a problem finding the overdues the whole year.

We have been a part of KYVA for 2 years now and we love it. The communication from teachers and staff is so good and we are notified of everything that is happening. The school work is easy to navigate once you get used to it and if there are any issues, messaging teachers for help is easy to do! We will continue being a part of KYVA for as long as possible! We highly recommend and we have told a few others that are interested in virtual schooling!

The staff and teachers are great, and keep the students and LC’s informed of all lesson plans, expectations and concerns.

We left the k12 virtual school because my students teachers called cps on us mulitiple times and twice within the last two months. One was over spring break not even 2 days after returning from the hospital due to a family emergency

Everyone is always very nice, but it can be tough at times to get in touch with certain people when we have a question or need help.

My children and myself have not appreciated the change in the new learning site. My middle child is not as savvy as my other 2 so it’s just a lot of surfing everywhere to submit ticket codes in order to take quizzes and not all teachers include the recordings which have the codes in order to do the assignments. Lots of hoops to jump through in order to submit the work. I believe after a certain amount of time they should refresh the laptops b/c they lag and the chargers go bad and sometimes it takes too long they actually get into class. My children have been attending here since 2020 and it is not child and parent friendly.

Open schedule connections with the teachers mister ditton is my sons favorite my son loves online learning his grade have dramatically changed. He's doing excellent , and if he's not understanding something , he just goes back to the video where the teacher is explaining it.

the teachers, time, location, breaks it all makes for a easier life esp. with our case and all the doctor appointments and such!

Constant contact with teachers,student and parents.Prompt return on information concerning student to parent knowledge also...Thanking k12 ❤️

My son does not receive the support that he should. The teachers are more focused on rather or not his camera is on, he gets kicked out of classes for this and then counted as absent for the class. I have told every teacher he has had for the past two years that he struggles with social anxiety and depression from being bullied which is why he’s been homeschooled, I have documentation from his doctor supporting this and STILL no one cares. I’ve had teachers flat out tell me “it’s policy there is nothing I can do about it” and that is so unprofessional. I understand that this is a public school program but the teachers do not have to operate like it’s some low grade public school. This will be my sons last year with K12 because I have 100% had enough.

This school has really helped my son.
