Kilimanjaro Budget Safaris

SCAMMERS worst experience ever do not booking with this company it s not reliable at all . I made a deal for a three day group safari two of them in Serengeti and one in ngorogoro for usd700 each. Two weeks before my arrival William texted me that I have to add usd185 each as he didn't find other people to join my itinerary but this happened when I already payed upfront the 30% of the total and close a deal for a group safari basically he didn't comply with the condition we negotiate.
Moreover when I asked for the quotation of my itinerary I clarify that I picked the accommodation by myself and William forgot to include hotel concession and on top of this he charged them with the high season fare although we were in April
they should change its name in Kilimangiaro misleading safaris as they close a deal for a price and then raise the amount.
what I complain most is the lack of transparency in the final price
I picked this tour operator because apparently seem the most convenient compared to the other quotation I got but I ended up paying from the 700USD initially agreed per person to USD 1040,5 because he didnt mention that when you pay by card you have to add the 5% and that was mandatory to pay in USD .
When I met him at the airport I own him 1657 since I have upfront payed 350 and I gave him 800 euros cash that became according to what he told me with changes fees 828 USD and intsted of paying the balance of 829plus 5%=870.45 He charged me USD 903 for no reason
if I were known the real final price with everything included I never had book with this company because the quotation I got from their competitors was cheaper.
all the communication experience was based on hiding extra cost.
budget safari in its company name is so inappropriate if you are looking for a professional company with clear communication about prices do not choose them at all.
thankfully the safari went good
the only positive thing of my experience was the guide drivers as he was a really good and qualified guy.
hopefully that my experience will be useful to others to have awareness of what real costs of a safari experience are.

we had wonderful safari tour with Kili Budget Safaris in Tanzania, we had 6 days kilimanjaro climb machare route and 4 days camping safari with reasonable cost. Thanks to william shayo and his team, the guides, porters and cooker was really friendly. for the safari we saw a lot of animal in Serengeti and ngorongoro also Tarangire national park its really nice for elephant, Thanks to our driver guide Michael, Many thanks to william is very professional organizer.

Kilimanjaro Budget Safaris organised out trip to Tanzania perfectly. In-fact they over and beyond what we had booked in the itinerary. From the pickup at the Airport George the guide for the trip welcomed us and took us to our hotel, early next morning after breakfast he was there waiting for us. He had good knowledge of flora and fauna in the parks coupled with Tanzania history and culture . He drove us to the parks and is a friendly and jovial person who spared no effort to ensure that our trip was great.

I have total faith with this company and you will be seeing me soon!

My wife and I finally decided to climb Kilimanjaro and most of the companies that we sought were rather pricey and not very responsive to our emails then a friend told me about Kilimanjaro Budget Safaris. I emailed them inquiring about the different routes and pricing and after several emails with William we finally agreed on the Marangu route and got a great rate.

The Kili trek was just great, George our head guide is on top of his game, he was patient, knowledgeable and ensured that we were well taken care off.
The trek is quite strenuous and we almost gave up before conquering the summit, however George encouraged us and it was such a surreal and exhilarating feeling when we were finally standing on the roof of Africa.

Next summer, I intend to come back and do a southern circuit safari tour with them.
