Unfortunate situation with Kuoni Trafford centre. Wed made an appointment early in the week to plan our honeymoon, we arrived this morning excited to book and were told that they'd booked someone else in at the time we had original been booked for, so could no longer see us. Credit they had tried to contact us on thursday, however my partner had missed the call, in future it would be useful for a message to be left informing us of the situation, rather than just asking for a call back (my partner is a teacher so unable to take calls during the day). There was one single attempt made at contact. It all felt a bit like a better offer had come in for an appointment, so ours was chosen as the one to be cancelled (the other party were also arriving in store at the same time being seated and looked after). Either this was the case, or there is a flaw in the website which allowed this to happen. We were given another time 2 hours later, which we couldntmake. We have made another appointment at trailfinders instead.

Used Kuoni to book our honeymoon, which should be an exciting transaction, but far from it I'm afraid.
A disjointed service and poor attention to detail during the booking process leading to intense frustration.
I can't envisage using them again

We unfortunately had to change holidays, but Mark did a great job of finding an alternative holiday that met our requirements.

We booked as a party of 8 to Kuramathi with the Solihull office(rep Jordan). some of the party said they thought it was a little expensive(being first timers with Kuoni).
We were regulars with them and said it was worth it and they will see why when we get onto the island. On the island you have two reps (Angelo & Tharanga) to deal with anything that arises. Well the Mid East crisis hit. The reps and Kuoni UK were very quick to inform us of the situation and what was the plan. Kuoni had rebooked us on another flight via Frankfurt & and arranged to stay in our accommodation until the flight which was overbooked,(these thing happen in this sort of crisis) informed Asap and another flight was booked. We had to stay an extra 11 days in that beautiful place. Unfortunately there were people needing medication so this was sorted via the Medical centre on the island but not all medication was available so the Kuoni rep arranged for boats to take them to other islands Pharmacist Or someone to collect Prescriptions from Male. Meantime we were getting updated information on what was happening from Kuoni, but not everything was in their control so things changed rapidly. We eventually arrived back in Uk via Frankfurt with an overnight stop in hotel, all organised by Kuoni. I would have dread trying to organise this by ourselves. When we got back to UK the ones who thought it a bit expensive were very very glad they booked with Kuoni and are looking at rebooking again with them and are telling all their friends.

We have had the pleasure of booking a few holidays with Amy and the team at the Chelmsford store. This time it will be our honeymoon to Africa and have to thank them for their expert knowledge and patience in getting every little detail right to book our dream holiday. From start to finish nothing is too much trouble. Thank you

We couldn't go on our trip because of the war in the gulf- We were due to fly to the Maldives via Bahrain. Kuoni were responsive, incredibly helpful and empathetic, during what must have been the most stressful time for the team. They offered options and provided a full refund that came through within 14 days of the cancellation. What a service - I will definitely book with them again.

Very satisfied with how they dealt with our middle east flight disruption, means I will be happy to book again with them when we rebook our trip to Thailand.

Wow. We wanted the holiday of a lifetime, and Maldives delivered.

Having never previously visited Maldives, we chose through @Kuoni to spend 4 nights at each of three different islands: #Kuramathi, #Ananea Madivaru and #Kandolhu.

The views expressed below are unique to us, we know and respect that others will have different.

Our overall assessment is the Maldives is what we perceive paradise to feel and look like, the most incredible white beaches, gorgeous blue sea full of interesting sea life and coral, complimented by plenty of sun.

Our review is as follows:
Kuramathi 8 out of 10. Would probably return
Ananea Madivaru 9 out of 10. Would definitely return
Kandolhu. 7 out of 10. Unlikely to return

Every island offered a unique experience, and all helped create ‘paradise’ and our holiday of a lifetime.

So what lies behind these scores:
Kuramathi Is a large and mature island with fantastic staff, an engaging General Manager, excellent buffet food, fantastic infinity pool, complimented with a pleasant bar and restaurant.
Everyday we enjoyed every member of staff making us feel very special.

Ananea Madivaru Is a medium sized new island with fantastic accommodation (truly stunning), everything maintained to the highest standards, and friendly staff . The island had lovely extras including free paddle boarding complimented by what felt like a large, safe and stunning paddle area, plus free yoga led by an incredible teacher, and one of the best gyms ever visited at any holiday venue. Other opportunities not sampled including pickle ball, tennis and more.
The welcome to the island made a very impactful statement that created the perfect start.
We noted that of all of our islands that we visited, this had incredible staff welfare facilities - creating a happy and united team.

Kandolhu Is a very small mature island with some lovely staff. The À la carte menu and food choices were outstanding. Snorkelling felt safe and a unique experience of coral and sea life - ‘our own tropical fish tank’, particularly when staying in an over the water villa.

What improvements would we recommend for each island:
Kuramathi: Accommodation matched with Ananea, plus extras like free paddle boarding and yoga.
Ananea: Buffett food and service aligned with Kuramathi, and restaurants with a more comfortable temperature - very simply the bar and restaurant environment was toooooo hot to enjoy the food and drink, or lounge for the evening.
Kandolhu: To be more than a snorkelling island, and be better value for money (particularly bar prices which were stupidly expensive)

Suggest secure more potential customer insights on needs and abilities before proposing islands,

Specific things to note:
The original island transfer was beyond an awful experience
And strongly recommend providing greater clarity on what is and isn’t included in each islands package price, at best it proved to be confusing.

Booked over the telephone with the Harrogate store after weeks of deciding and swapping and changing. Prices of each change given in email. Tell me then how Katie ups the price by £334.00 within hours of the last itinerary!? Yes, prices change we know this but that much in such a short space of time. Disputed this straight away to the point within days the regional manager called, Kerry, funny because she saw the error Katie had made within 20 seconds of me explaining. After that, mass cover up as not all call recordings were given in which clearly you can hear me questioning the extra £334.00, but no clear solution given. Now before Alice or Craig given you their version of events which I am sure they will, even my bank saw the error but the way that Kuoni sent a 50 page document to my bank. They forwarded it to me but the file was too large and by post it hasn't arrived as of yet. Then there's the matter of contact, pls be aware that the MD's HO as written on their website is not complete, your post will not get there. Kuoni have conveniently not given an full address, infant Royal Mail don't seem to have it on file ... sketchy

We used Kuoni to celebrate my husband’s 40th birthday. We had very specific requirements and still Kuoni
delivered a great experience. We had a great time - probably it’s the best holidays we’ve had since our daughter was born.

Being 2 ladies into our 70's they tailored made our recent trip to Cambodia and Vietnam to what we wanted to do. Flights, pick ups, hotels and trips all ran smoothly. No problems at all! we had to change a day for one of our trips due to illness and they kept in touch and re-arranged with no problems. As did Go Vacations who the trips were booked with.

Really helpful insights into where to stay and looking forward to an amazing trip

From booking the holiday through to the resort on the Maldives was excellent. In particular, the service we received from the staff at the resort was super efficient and friendly.

Very professional staff (Justine) who was able to book exactly the vacation we wanted through their sister organisation Journey Latin America. When we requested to add more an extension to another country after the initial booking this was done within the hour. Every time we have raised a question we have had a response almost immediately. We have full confidence our vacation will be a great success.

I found that there showed a high standard of care. I will be using kuoni all the time now

Kuoni and their Indian Rep helped us achieve a holiday we will never forget. Our requirements were listened to and then everything was taken care of - in the most exceptional way.
We could not have asked for any thing more in the arrangements made for us throughout our time in India. The Rep in India was attentive to us and our arrangements. The people who were chosen to take us through our multi-city tour were without fault.
We would both like to thank Kuoni and would, without exception, recommend them and will be using them again.
