I ordered a Vela LED Bathroom Mirror in Brushed Brass from LampShopOnline in November 2024. They sent me the wrong colour, copper instead of brass, and initially denied the issue, even after I provided clear photographic evidence. Only after I left a 1-star review did they admit the error, rename the product, and promise to send a correct mirror in April 2025 when new stock arrived.

I trusted them and agreed to wait. It’s now well past April, and they’ve gone completely silent despite multiple follow-ups. It’s clear to me now that they were stalling until my 120-day PayPal dispute window expired. I’m shocked that a business would go to such lengths to avoid making right on a £100 mistake.

This kind of dishonest and evasive behaviour is unacceptable. Be very cautious when dealing with them. Customer service only acts when public pressure is applied, and their promises don’t mean much once reviews are changed. Extremely disappointed.

Ordered lights on Next Day Delivery, didn't arrive, called them, DEFINITELY be with us the next day, didn't arrive, again. Asked them to cancel the order, can't do that, still on it's way, but absolutely would be there the next day, I think you've guessed the next bit. As it's now a bank Holiday asked if they could send out a replacement with a different courier as these were needed urgently, no they don't want to do that.
They KNOW FedEx fail to deliver, but still they use them, that's a company failing.

I have used this shop once and found them very good, very quick delivery.

I ordered a bulb from this company to fit a lamp I had bought from John Lewis. When I put the lamp into the lamp, the lamp didn’t work. John Lewis replaced the lamp, I tried the bulb again from LampShopOnline and it blew up the lamp! I contacted LampShopOnline and they refused a refund saying it was the wrong spec. Also that the bulb was not defective, I took it along to an electrical shop/wholesalers, they plugged it into on of their lights sockets in their shop circuit and it blew all the lights in the shop! If that doesn’t prove that the bulb was defective - I don’t know what does.

I went through to PayPal to try and get my money back for being sold a defective bulb - but they refused the claim because the bulb had been altered by me. I’m not sure how I would be able to ‘alter’ a bulb

Ordered waited eventually emailed to ask where order was told there wasn’t enough in stock asked for what was in stock to be delivered with out delivery charge and refund the rest as I actually contacted the company 3 times to find out where my order was? Told I would be emailed and wasn’t contacted again to find out where the part order was and now told I’ve been refunded and they haven’t sent anything AVOID CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NON EXISTENT AND IF YOU DO NOT GET IN TOUCH AND PUSH THEM ALONG YOU WILL BOT EVEN GET YOUR MONEY BACK!

I bought expensive lights for a whole house from Lamp shop online. After one year 70 % of lights stopped working.
I asked can i buy the same model. They replied No. They stop doing them.
I bought different lights from them. The diameter didn't fit the original. Asked for a return and they Refused.

Ordered Osram 40w Halopin G9 oven lamp bulb on Sunday afternoon, received Tuesday morning and fitted immediately Excellent service thank you

Website was excellent, providing clear information about swapping fluorescent tube bulb to led and recommended T8 tube bulb to replace old fluorescent. Delivery was super fast, well packaged and it fitted and more importantly fitted by me!
This company is now on my go to list. Thank you.

I ordered a bathroom mirror on Wednesday it arrived on Thursday so well packed it was so easy to install it was up and working in about an hour , I am very impressed with this company and I would recommend them to anyone. Many thanks to all involved.

I've had two recent orders with LampShopOnline.

The first was for LED tubes to replace flourescent tubes. Although the website implied the tubes were a direct replacement, they did not work. The customer support team checked my fitting compatibility and advised that it would need a minor rewire. I later decided not to go ahead and was given a full refund as LampShop agreed with me that the website was misleading. It has now been updated.

My second order was for two more flourescent tubes. This time the courier failed to deliver on time. On calling customer services, they immediately followed up with the courier to track the item down and get it delivered the next day. Sadly package had been wrecked in transit and the tubes shattered. Within an hour of receiving my email, I have another full refund in my account.

Whilst I ended up with no tubes, I exeprienced seamless first class customer service from three different team members. I wouldn't hesitate to order from LampShop again. I eventually decided to replace the light fitting so didn't need the tubes anyway!

I ordered a illuminated bathroom mirror, it started coming on on its own. I contacted lampshoponline , they was very professional and quickly sent out another, and picked up the faulty mirror, all within a few day. I found the after care very good, and would recommend this company.

Ordered a bulb and paid for next day delivery, 2 days pass and nothing but a sorry here's your money back, not one attempt at helping me get another bulb, just fob me off with a refund, won't be shopping g here again

You have to be a expert at light fittings to order from here! I order a bulb that didnt fit my socket and was asked to pay to return it (signed for post) cause I ordered the wrong product. That is not good customer service when product is not even used and just wanted a stright return.

Top marks for this company! Bought incorrect LED tubes which I sent back for exchange for the correct ones. Although in transit a breakage occurred they replaced them without charge & their customer service was absolutely fantastic!! Definitely recommend to anyone ! Good value prompt delivery & 5* customer service ✅

I purchased two CFL bulbs. They were well priced and delivered promptly, so I was already pleased. However a couple of weeks later I received a courtesy call from a very kind person called Susan who checked that the items had been received and working as expected, which they were. She also informed me about these bulbs being discontinued and provided some advice about what to do about it. Susan is a great asset to this company and because of her excellent service, I'll be purchasing from Lamp Shop Online again

Aone of my lights arrived damaged but I have contacted customer services and they responded quickly and are sending a replacement. I can't say fairer than that. These things can happen and I am pleased with how they have dealt with it which leaves me feeling confident to buy from them in the future.
