I ordered a wall light

I ordered a wall light. 2 Weeks later it had not arrived. Tried phoning them but just got cut off after 4 minutes. Left message but no one got back to me.
Sent email but no reply.
Will not use this company again.
Terrible customer service.

I do appreciate that a faster response would have been preferable, and I'm sorry that you were waiting on a response over the weekend.

Regarding the phone call - as a small business, our phone lines are not able to be monitored at all times, however we aim to respond to all voicemails left within 1 working day.

Customer Service is unbelievably poor!
I'm just glad I got my product.
Tried call, no answer
Tried leaving a voice mail
Tried email, response after few days and when I requested to chat on the phone, nothing
Parcelforce tracing number not working

And this went for weeks.

How do they do business!

Waiting on update/refund after returning goods more than 3 months ago

I purchased a Nordlux lamp in September, which was promptly delivered. But the product had a deformity and I initiated a return, which was approved, and I posted the product back using the Royal Mail postage provided by Lampsy in October. I haven't heard from them since. I wrote to their customer service team in December but haven't heard back. I have tried calling them a few times now but can't seem to reach a person. Their customer service number forces one to leave a voicemail after they have waited a few minutes, instead of keeping them in a queue, which should be an option for cases like mine. I'd have happily waited longer to speak to somebody but have had to leave them a message. I will wait to hear back but had reasonably hoped this process wouldn't require so much time and effort from a customer.

Great Service

Great Service.

After reading some of the reviews I was slightly concerned with delivery but due to competitive price I decided to give Lampsy the benefit of the doubt and placed my order.

I was kept informed of dispatch and my order of 5 lights was received with no problems.

Don’t bother

Ordered a light, with expected delivery of 3-5 working days. After we hadn’t received it in that time, or even an update on our order, I emailed them asking when we could expect it delivered. I was told that due to the inclement weather, our order hadn’t been dispatched and was due for dispatch two working days later with next day delivery. I emailed back the next day and asked if they could dispatch it that day for next day delivery as I had an electrician coming and him fitting the light was part of his work remit, or cancel the order as I’d rather have the £100 in my back pocket than a light waiting around to be fitted for months. Heard nothing for another four days (still no light even though it was meant to be dispatched three days earlier) and then received an email saying that it was due for dispatch the next day (10 working days since we ordered it) or did we want to cancel. If they send it with 3-5 working days delivery then it’s going to sit outside our house for 10 days while we are away. Communication has been slow and I am disinclined to believe the reason for the delay in dispatch is the weather, especially as we had to chase for an update, they never approached us, it just seemed like an excuse. Really annoyed and disappointed, will never order from this company again.

Although not an excuse for the delays, we did have some issues due to the weather. These issues were exacerbated when we had to close our warehouse. This subsequently caused a backlog to deliveries and processing of orders.

Happy Customer

I have bought several plug-in wall lights from Lampsy, and have been very happy with all of them. They are simple to assemble, good quality, provide a lovely light, and good value for money.
Any communications I have had with the company have been dealt with quickly and efficiently. Very impressed; I would recommend this company.

I bought three table lamps and one pendant lamp which were competitively priced. The items were all very good quality and really well packaged. Delivery was quick and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Lampsy and their products.

Lamp is excellent

Lamp is excellent, used it all summer and now use it in living room as it gives off lovely glow even on lowest setting. I charge it overnight and it lasts longer than one evening on lowest setting. Excellent price, dispatched quickly.

Scam

As I only found out after ordering, their stock levels on the website are very often a one big, fat lie. Only once they took my money, I received an email that the item is actually out of stock and that I'd need to wait over a month to received it. The estimated delivery date has come and gone and no updates from them. Thankfully paid through paypal so will be opening a dispute through them.

Avoid!

I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from Lampsy. My order was delayed far beyond the advertised 3-5 working days, and the lack of clear communication only added to the frustration.

While delays can happen, the handling of this situation was unacceptable. Suggesting I should wait to book an electrician is basic common sense and does nothing to address the inconvenience caused by the excessive delay and poor communication.

Timely delivery is a basic expectation when making a purchase, and Lampsy failed to meet even this standard. The offered resolution—a free return label—was completely inadequate given the inconvenience caused.

If this is the level of service Lampsy considers acceptable, I feel compelled to warn others. I would strongly advise against relying on this company.

Awful from start to finish

I ordered a lamp back in October which arrived damaged, so I returned it. Even though the tracking confirmed it was successfully returned, I didn't receive a refund or any communication despite me sending repeated emails throughout November and December.

I eventually raised a chargeback with my credit card company, and only then did I receive a reply on 3rd January. They claimed their office had been closed for the festive period - a ridiculous excuse considering this had been going on since October.

Avoid this company at all costs, it's not worth the hassle.
