Great service from the Chester branch who were very helpful on the telephone enabling me to finalise my order and also helped out later when the couriers created a problem which was not of LCE’s making. Excellent customer service in all respects especially Mark at the branch. Many thanks.

Great service received from LCE Chester via their online service, I originally had a pre-order in for a new camera via the London Strand branch and they were great in organising but later on I wanted to change to ordering another camera in stock in Chester and they were both nothing but helpful in organising this change. Really happy with the order service and my new camera. Will be using LCE again for my needs.

As usual the used item I received was in exceptional condition, the only thing I noticed was the SD card slot next to the battery was so tight it did not release the card for extraction however after loading and removing the card several time it seemed to free up the slot so now much easier to remove card.
This was a minor thing so as always given 5 *

Easy to use website with reasonable prices, quick and secure delivery with plenty of updates along the way saying which store was dealing with my request (Chester and Plymouth stores), delivery date and time etc. It's nice to support a reasonably small chain instead of buying from somewhere like Amazon.

Very knowledgeable staff member when discussing a Len’s for my 5D Mk4. Gave me the pros and cons of still using mirrored DSLR. I decided to stay with mirrored and purchased a second hand EF lens. All done over the phone.

Lens arrived next day even though I ordered close to or after the deadline. Lens was very well packed and when examined was in virtually pristine condition. I had been looking on various vendor and auction sites for this lens and found that the LCE price was very competitive and often better especially when you consider the six month warranty. Bought a dream lens, had some minor damage in transit, though no-bodies fault, it was perfectly packaged. They arranged for repair and were fine that I needed to use the lens in the meantime.
Having previously worked in photographic retail myself for 23 years, this is the kind of service I always strived to give.
