Shivani was superb in every way: polite, patient, pleasant, anxious to answer all the issues I raised, clear and communicated very well.
I was having difficulty updating my maturing ISA as I normally did this in branch before I moved house. My call was answered promptly. I spoke to Jerry-Joe Monye who was extremely helpful, as I was unable to log in online. He asked me which ISA I wanted to transfer to, and did this for me. Very pleasant and helpful.
After speaking to Ellie on the phone regarding registering my Dad’s lasting power of attorney, I made an appointment to go into the Durham branch.
It was Ellie who I saw, she was punctual, very kind and very thorough.

Today I had a very helpful telephone experience with Nashra who was very patient and made me feel comfortable throughout her support. I explained my sight impairment made it difficult and slow for me to navigate my screen. This often resulted in me being timed out before completing a transaction online. Her pleasant manner and assurance to take my time and not feel hurried was very refreshing. She completed my transaction professionally and competently.

Appointment on time no delay. I call in to use my ISA allowance for this year, I spoke to Scot who tended to myself and I must say Scot was very informative and made me more aware of scams. Scot also took time to explain the interest rates and penalties for withdrawals.

A great experience every time. Ive just renewed my mortgage for the 3rd time.
A friendly expert when deciding on something so big is always welcome.
With our current mortgage about to expire and the unstable nature of the market at the moment, we contacted the Leeds regarding options.
We got an appointment within 36 hours at a time that suited us and we're provided with all the information required pre appointment and Nicola (Thompson) called as arranged. She took all the time I needed, answered all my questions, helped clarify our options, and assisted in coming to a decision that I feel very comfortable with. She also has offered to assist further if rates change before our new deal begins. Can't stress enough how reassured I feel and I find these things quite stressful with the ever changing interest rates.
Sumithra was extremely helpful and patient on the phone today helping us set up new accounts for our Isa’s to mature into.
She was polite and very clear with her help.

Shivani was excellent. Explained my issue with accessing the account, sorted everything and upgraded my account to a new higher interest rate.

Called in today at The Leeds Building Society -Barnsley Branch to open a joint account with my wife. Phoned the branch first to confirm a couple of details. First class experience from start to finish. My call was answered quickly by a very helpful polite lady. Next called at the branch without an appointment, only waited a few minutes before being seen by Andrew the branch manager. What a pleasant change to meet someone face to face who was so helpful and knowledgeable. Some other banks and building societies who I shall not name should take a look at The Leeds and treat their customers the same way. An all round excellent experience. Would definitely recommend to other would be investors.
