A professional scammer and crook. Took my car here and I regret it. One star is generous. I was given a decent estimate but it was a bait and switch. They held my car hostage for WEEKS with no updates or progress. They racked up storage charges and told me to deal with my insurance company instead. I was out of pocket so much money because of this crook. Leif is unprofessional and a crook. This man has overloaded on advertisement and it’s all to compensate his little fragile ego. His employees are his minions doing his dirty work. On top of all that, Leif said he wouldn’t allow me to get my car out and he said he owned me and my car now.

Do yourself a favor and run far far away from this crook! Do some research on this guy and you’ll see that he plays dirty. He is a slimy snake and will stop at nothing to con people.

They got an F rating from Better Business Bureau. The owner is completely a joke. He’s such a liar by the way if you research his name, leave Hanson, he used to be in jail. He was incarcerated for theft, auto theft. He’s a ConMan.

terrible experience, sent my car for repair, was told by insurance company they charged too high,but could not take it back due to high checking charge, my car was in the shop for over one month without repairing,when they notified us we can pick up the car,we were told we have to pay for almost $300 which insurance company refused to pay, and the car was not repaired well,has to be repaired again, we were deeply regret our choice, if you do not want your life become terrible after car accident, stay away with this shop.

1. Even though their ad claims they never put used parts on the vehicle and although I was told repeatedly that they were going to replace my fender with a new fender from the dealership, and even though my insurance company paid them for a new fender, they repaired the damage to the old fender without discussing it with me. I discovered that change after I picked up my car.
2. Even though their ad claims they have unique processes that allow the customer to "get their car in, get it fixed, and get it out", they held my car for an entire month while they did less than 25 man-hours of labor, blaming the delay on my insurance company or the dealership.
3. Even though their ad claims "Free pickup and delivery anywhere in the northwest" they never had a truck available to pickup or deliver my car.
4. Even though their ad claims "complimentary loaner car" they claimed there was a waiting list of three to six month for a loaner car.
5. Even though their ad claims deductible assistance, they added costs to my deductible rather than lowering it.

I have had the worst experience “working “ with Leif’s. First, I was not told that if I didn’t use them for repairs, I would have to pay them at least $1000 to get my wrecked car back. NO transparency from the in take person. I knew immediately I would be punished by my insurance company from using them & I have been. Leif’s & my insurance company bickered for 2 WEEKS over $223 “extra” for my repairs. And I was told nastily that I’d have to pay for it or to try to talk to my insurance company, but “good luck” with that. I never heard from my “adjuster” at Leif’s & when I finally emailed them at how frustrated I was by lack of communication, I got a condescending, scathing email back. I filed a BBB complaint, but surprise, surprise Leif’s never addressed it. I have NOT heard from them in 3 weeks & they’ve had my car for 5 WEEKS. I also tried leaving poor experience comments on their website with a “PROMISE “ of communication within 72 hours & have gotten NOTHING. I finally called Leif’s this week & asked for a manager & was told there was NO direct extension for one & that someone would call me within 24-48 hours. I HAVE NOT GOTTEN A CALL FROM SAID MANAGER. I have tried EVERYTHING to get them to communicate with me & have gotten NOTHING. I have repeatedly complained about the lack of communication & how poorly I’ve been treated & NOTHING. DO NOT USE LEIF’S, they do NOTHING for you as they claim in their commercials, which are FALSE advertising. I make sure to tell EVERYONE I come into contact with my awful experience & to NOT use them.

Please, do not take your car to laifs, they don’t deserve your business.
First, let’s start out with the fact that they charge you $100 a day to “store your car” whether or not they repair it. They took three weeks to get my insurance company their estimate of the work, my belief is that they saw my car was a total loss and decided to milk the insurance for all they could get on the storage fee. When I challenge them on this at the end, I was told to get a lawyer. They’re very friendly when you drop your car off and try to give you confidence that they’re going to do a great job, but as soon as I was turned over to the “customer service rep“ Lea, she was nothing but hostile, combative, arrogant, and she never returned my calls and only return emails when I pestered her for answers. The only time I finally talk to her on the phone is when Geico declared my car a total loss and she wanted me to come clean it out so they could get rid of the car. Their advertising is completely false, there is no transparency. They are all for making as much money as they can. Having a car accident is stressful and getting your car repaired is even more so, these guys only make it worse. Please learn from my mistake!

Much of what I’ll be writing in regards to my experience is a common repeating theme with Leif’s Auto Collision Center, on this and on other review sites. I wished I read those reviews prior to taking our car to this place. I’m hoping by sharing my experience less people will have to go through similar nightmare.
This is a very condensed version.
3rd time in a span of 18 years that I took our car to Leif’s. The experience and repair result were excellent the first time, then good on the second time and now it just plain horrid.
Our car was at their shop for 7 weeks for a no-fault minor accident (backed into while parked) and it ended up looking worse than before the repair. The color on the front bumper is way off (because no tinting was done), separation line between unpainted and painted part is uneven and jagged in some areas, there are also visible overspray on non-painted parts.

Communication was lacking unlike what’s stated on their commercial and when it happened, they are mostly vague and accompanied with rudeness. They ignored my repeated requests for tint and keep on pushing what they want to do (blend) instead. (Tint is adjusting the paint mixture to get to a closer match with the existing paint while blending is overlapping new paint onto adjacent panels so the gradual color change will to trick the eyes from seeing the difference between the new and existing paint). My guess blend is a more cost effective and requires less effort. Ben Trujillo spent a lot of time trying to convince me that blend is the only way to go. At one time he sent pages taken from a couple of documents that supposedly would provide solid reasoning to do blend but one of article actually states that blend should not be a consideration for the white paint (which is the color of our car) while the other one states that tint is also needed for better blend result. When I pointed this out, he told me that I read the wrong section, but there is no other section on the pages that he sent me. He never sends the correct section or talked about it anymore afterward though.
Leif’s constantly projecting themselves onto Insurance companies. They incessantly claim that insurance is trying to cheap out and blame insurance for their shoddy work. They also show a weird obsession of wanting to punish insurance by making them to pay for re-repair. This is displayed on their commercial as well as what their employees say. They will manipulate you to fight with the insurance (which I fell for and did for over a month).
When I rejected the repair on my car the first time Ben told me that the repair is the way it is because that is what was paid by the insurance. I was not aware that they have different levels for pre-loss repair. From my experience they don’t do any of the fighting or stand up to insurance company, I did all of the fighting being constantly misled by them.
They require debit card or cash payment from you, credit card is accepted with 2% charge and won’t take check from insurance company. Which means you will have to get the insurance to pay you and you to pay them.
Nothing in their ads is really what they stand for. Holding the insurance accountable, fixing your car right the first time, fighting for you and pre-loss repair are just empty buzz words to lure you in.

I had my car in for a bumper repair and asked for the rear brakes to be replaced. After 5 days in the shop, the bumper was replaced but the brakes were NOT replaced. LEIF's made me pay $115.00 for a rear brake "diagnosis". I didn't ask for a diagnosis. I KNEW THE REAR BRAKES NEEDED to be REPLACED. They were very rude about it..

"Kindness, compassion, and positivity are very important traits in life. It is far easier to say nothing than it is to speak words of kindness. Had a very good experience at Leif's. Fixed my Toyota Tundra after a pretty bad side impact accident.
