Clear, informative and full of insightful tips

Great course! Very informative, Louise was very clear and engaging. The information given was very useful and I appreciated her being very 'honest'.

Just attended the honest midwife natural birth and labour course. Can’t recommend it enough. Louise was very good, great sense of humour and makes you feel at ease to ask any questions. I learned about lots of new things and will be paying to book on to some of the other courses.

As Parents for the first time the courses helped with our confidence Louise was absolutely fantastic with giving us tips and advice on the way things will happen so when our boy comes we will be a little more prepared for the next chapter of our lives.... She maybe Lancashire and Im Yorkshire (As the banter was passed to one another during the courses) Louise was a Lancashire Lass for the people!!

We recently completed two antenatal courses with The Honest Midwife and would highly recommend Louise to any expectant parents. She is incredibly knowledgeable, engaging and positive, and clearly passionate about what she does.

The sessions were informative, practical and really empowering. She explains everything in such a clear and reassuring way, which helped us both feel much more confident and prepared for birth. We are really keen to complete the Practical Parenting course to feel fully prepared for baby’s arrival.

Very informative, and I was very entertained the whole time. The midwife was very funny, and even though it was a 2 hour webinar the time flew by. Would definitely recommend!

Booked the free natural labour and birth class and it was a great taster class. It was engaging and there were opportunities to ask questions and interact. The midwife, Louise, that ran the class was knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour. Highly recommend. I will definitely be booking some future classes to help me prepare for my little one.

Lovely midwife and made it easy to understand it all

This class was so informative but also somehow fun and casual (yes, even while discussing labour). I came away feeling much calmer and almost excited about the process of giving birth. It was so good that I signed up to a class bundle after it.

I am expecting my second baby, and for my first one I took antenatal classes, but I forgot most of the stuff taught. This class was so well planned, very interactive and easy to follow. I really appreciated having been given the opportunity to participate. Thank you. Also as a second time mum, I could not agree more with the advice given, your body is amazing and knows what to do when in labour!!

These classes are fabulous! My partner and I struggled to find classes where we live and those that were available, were at times we couldn't make and extortionately priced.
The online classes we were signposted to by the NHS were terrible and you just clicked through slides without taking anything in.
With The Honest Midwife, we initially signed up for the free class with Louise to make sure we both liked the format and style of presenting. I had worries my husband would switch off a little throughout online courses, but this wasn't the case at all and he was just as engaged as I was.
I can honestly say on behalf of my partner and I, that we found the course enjoyable, amusing, really informative and it was a really easy decision for us to sign up to a bundle of classes, which are reasonably priced and far cheaper than many other options out there.
I would encourage anyone who is on the fence to give the first class a go, and I'm confident you'll come away realising it was a great use of your time and be surprised by how much you learn.

My husband and I attended the Free Natural Labour & Birth Class - it was really great! I have been apprehensive about the upcoming birth, but Louise explained everything really well and I am much more informed. The class was fun, interactive and definitely worth doing. We have since signed up for more!

Brilliant class, so useful for me and my partnet to prepare for what's to come. Louise is great and very funny. This class was free but I will definitely be paying to book another. Thank you so much!

This session was really informative, a great start to our preparation for the birth of our baby.

It was delivered in an easy to understand way by an honest, very experience and knowledgable midwife.

Myself and my husband attended the free online class. We'd already done a bit of researching ourselves but just wanted to gauge if our knowledge and understanding was correct.

We found the class to be incredibly informative, Louise was really reassuring, funny and informative. There was no fluff, everything was explained as is and there was no squeamishness or hesitation in the way she explained things. We came away from the course learning a few new bits and feeling confident in our birth planning decisions.

We wanted to thank Louise for being so great and for offering such a valuable source of information to expectant parents out there. I will definitely consider The Honest Midwife for future courses.

We did a - free - course with Louise , labour and birth. We loved her honest approach. We felt her classes were way more engaging and more ' human ' than some others we had done. She has a warm personality and adds lots of humour. Weve just done her c section course and are very glad we did. Highly recommend and very likely to book more courses in early 2026. Thank you.
