I have both bought and consigned with Lougher since last year. Always had a very positive experience dealing with all staff at the gallery in both advice on pricing, demand for works, and the consignment process. They are always able to turn things round quickly if required and are super responsive to any queries. I would highly recommend either buying or consigning with Lougher.

Excellent service. They walk you through every step of the process. They have honest advice on pricing and and a very clear fee structure. The first item sold within a few days and they have sold consistently over the time I have consigned with them. Would highly recommend and the staff are really fast to respond. My favourite place to consign with by far. Thanks guys.

Yes quite possibly 4 years ago I asked DHL to leave a £40 item around the side of my house.

To leave an £11,500 item in the same way beggars belief.

Your response that this is in fact my fault is quite outrageous.

You have a duty of care to ship an expensive item in a responsible way.

Your company is clearly not professional nor should you be doing what you do. Your attention to detail is quite atrocious.

Please Art Customers I URGE you not to use these people.

I purchased a Damian Hirst print from this company for £11,500.

They used UPS for delivery and UPS did not even knock on the door as my daughter waited at home for them.

They left the Artwork at the side of the house literally 3 feet from the pavement with a unlocked Metal Gate between anyone and the Artwork.
It was clearly in view of the street and sat there unattended for nearly 3 hours as no one knew they had even delivered it!!

I raised this with the Gallery and their response was inadequate to say the least.

They clearly did not care said it was down to the courier etc!! They stated they would raise a complaint with UPS and yet I have not heard a single thing back from them!!!

If you want expensive artwork just dumped outside your house in plain site and access to the street and passers-by where they can happily just take it, then use them. If you don’t find someone reputable.

I have just purchased a limited edition Damien Hirst artwork from Lougher Contemporary and Huw, Elliot and Jo made the process super easy. I originally contacted Huw about a specific work I had seen on Artsy and was disappointed to learn that I had been pipped to it. However, the Lougher team were able to source another one and I am now its proud owner. Jo organised delivery with great efficiency. Very happy.

Just purchased a Banksy, Trolley's. Team at Lougher super to work with. Communication was excellent and I was very comfortable. As I live in Canada it was a little more challenging for us both however Huw, Jo and Katrina were able to guide me through all regulations, payment and customs. Highly recommend. I will cherish this piece

Regular Updates on status.very fast Delivery a bit pricy though 80 eurs very secure packaging.

Excellent communication throughout with the team at Lougher Contemporary. The (selling) process was explained in detail, collection of the artwork and associated logistics were great. Jo ensured that the transfer of funds was handled securely.

I purchased my first piece from the Lougher contemporary from Japan via web site.
E-mails with Jo and the rest of the staff were always prompt and courteous, and I never felt anxious about doing business overseas.
The packaging was also perfect, with the artwork and frames in perfect condition.
I would like to collect from Lougher contemporary again if there is a piece I collect.
